LMAO. I hate it here XDThe island remembers you. By hook or by crook you will return to the island.https://youtu.be/ygLg-7G0Xp0

She's a Mary Sue because she has no flaws, no short comings. She's inexplicably good at everything and just so happens to also be closely tied to important events and plot threads.Yeah, and we got that "super special secret reveal" way late into the game where it was barely a footnote before we moved on, and she didn't even get to use her super special earring, she had to give it to the damn mamool ja kid to use (it was such a slap in the face to her cool moment that I actually just laughed out loud in shock when it happened, it was so ridiculous. She can't even use her own McGuffin!) I would not call that a Mary Sue by any stretch, and no matter what character they picked to be the Pictomancer poster child, I doubt that would have changed how the job played.

I still don't get how you think krile was the mary sue and got "so much attention" or was good at everything when wuk lamat took up 90% of the screentime and any kind of "character developement" your essentially describing wuk lamat as this was the wuk lamat expansion and every other character was a cardboard cutout and all the scions had 10 years of character development thrown out the window and didn't seem to be themselves. All the scions seemed to be there just to be there and offered nothing to the story except to prop up wuk lamat to make her look better. If krile is a mary sue then so is all the other scions considering all the scions come into every scene knowing the answers and knowing everything to get a story arch moving along.

That is when the true Vana'diel of legend will be reborn.
It's called engagement bait or, how we used to call it back in the day: Trolling.
Anyone who has two brain cells capable of synapsing and paid attention to Krile, knows that she doesn't fit the Mary Sue label... Unless their definition it's so completely off from what it actually is.
I was telling my friend, there's no way in any of the seven hells Wuk Lamat is Scion material. She just isn't. She's adventurous, she's courageous, she's a leader, and while she's a little hoggy of the spotlight after she's had her turn, she's reliable. Her story is over. She became one of two leaders of her country. That's it. One, I don't see her dropping that, after all she said about becoming the next Dawnservant (about eighteen million times). Two, the Scions have no room for someone who gets f*** seasick the moment the boat rocks, or who gets all shivery if she's standing more than 10 feet above the earth.
It's not going to happen. It's never going to happen. She could, at most, be an honorary Scion, but she's not Scion material. She understands too little to be a Scion. If she really wants to be a Scion, she should go talk to Lyse beforehand.

Three Ilm Knights, One Thousand Malm Road

Fine by me.
Wuk Lamat was great.
I loved the English voiceover.
Just the script was impossible to carry. And everyone was a bystander including Wuk.
