    Machinist feedback & Sugestions from a LV60 Player.

    Hi, Machinist was defined the most job that I always leave in the corner because I feel some months ago that the class are just too weak. After I start to adventure with the Palace of the Dead, I decide to level up this class and damn, I just have a LOT of fun with him! Principally with the lv60cap level and the standard rotation with heated split shot and heated slug shot, the "moves" from the skill is just awesome and something that I feel with love from it. Also, the resemble skill + the Drill is just feels tooo gooood to hit <3
    But, like all things are just no flowers, I think the class just need a overall buff and some changes to perform better. As far I know, at lv60 (The level that I current in), I just feel the class weaker and have some more difficulty to do dungeons and play the game.
    I like to suggest some QoL changes also some tweak that maybe can improve overall the class.
    1. Split, slug and Clean shot (Heated also) needs a buff. A % increase on the damage is welcome.
    2. Changes "Hot Shot" to a ability to be able to cast without DPS lost on the rotation. I just don't use the skill to much and don't see any real good reason to use right now.
    3. Please rework the autoturrent, is the most weak and forgettable skill on the class for me, I absolute never use this because the DPS is to weak, and just vanish to soon.
    4. Make the AutoCross bow reduces the recast time of the Richocet skill. This will improve the AoE rotation I think.
    5. Make the Turret a fix ally skill that shots every second and maybe transfer the flamethrower and bioblaster skill for the turret tho do it? Like, we now can move freely and use another skills while the current are burning the enemies? rs
    6. Rework also the wildfire skill, the concepts is not good and I think they are more space for better damage skill on his place.
    7. Give us a trait that's allows to reduce the CD from ur skills to be able to spawn them more fast please.
    This is just my thoughts for the class at the moment. And how about you? What you think the class need rights now?

    2 and 3 are already adressed as they evolve into stronger buttons later on.

    I really hope that those skills evolve for a better damages+utility ones, lol. Overall, I will await for a damage buff on the skills <3

    You should absolutely never hold off from using Hot Shot or the Turret, those are definitive gains, no matter what level you are, both evolve as you level up. Hot Shot becomes Air Anchor (same potency as Drill) and the Turret becomes the Automaton Queen, a robot.

    People have asked for improvements to MCHs AoE game for years now and they seem intent on not making any adjustments, its odd, they claimed they took a lot of feedback from players, yet despite there being a load of criticism towards MCH AoE, Flamethrower and Wildfire, none of these were touched, so I really have no idea if they'll ever adjust them, because they don't see anything that needs fixing.

    They never take any feedback for MCH as they have demonstrated since Stormblood. When they do change something, it's something nobody complained about (ammo and procs, raid buffs to name a few).

    EW changes are proof of that. The fact the Automaton Queen wasn't expanded could also be a hint of that.

    The problem is the remaining ignored feedback such as the pointless tax, lack of support for a "support" role while casters can have access to stronger and more meaningful support and the lack of ranged specific mechanic.

    Barrel Stabilizer was a big feedback since ShB, it took a while but at least it's there.
    Hypercharge phase was visually boring with Heat blast and old Gauss round/ricochet, it's nice they revisited it.
    Full Metal Field restores the turret visual, which was something people asked for.

    Baby steps, but steps in the good direction nonetheless. Best we can, and should do, is encouraging them on following this path.
    While of course maintaining the negative feedback about the tax, flamethrower, wildfire and the Automaton Queen.

    Stabilizer: I'm not really sold that's them listening to feedback after so much time and every other job getting the same treatment in DT but I guess?
    HC: That's a stretch, every job and ability gets upgrades here and there especially in the last expansions, it tells very little.
    FMF: Now that's a stretch like I have rarely heard.

    You can believe it's a stretch then.
    I remember very clearly the feedback about Heat gauge, Heatblast spam being underwhelming and people who wanted more turret.
    What do you want else, a paper signed by Yoshida on which it is written they did those change because there was feedback about it?

    I'm just saying, let's not act like they absolutely don't listen to feedback.
    GNB changes, for example, checked all the feedback marks.
