or, at the VERY least.. an EXIT SURVEY... so they know why people leave.I mean lets be real... the devs do not tread into the heeping garbage pit that is the English forum. 50% of it being troll threads and posts with the other half having dozens upon dozens of samey threads. If they really want to take feedback serious they should prolly toss out some kind of survey with every patch...
their tea leaves and tarot card approach isnt working well for them

ah yes... the "vast vast vast majority" who are strangely silent...Actually you are wrong because the vast, vast, vast majority of players liked the Viper changes and only a tiny minority of players that constitute the forum cabal are complaining. They are utterly bitter and venomous and they are an infinitesimal minority. Minority minority minority! Minority! You will respect the silent vast vast vast vast majoritah!
we have a few here who claim to speak for the majority. with your 30 posts since joining in April... you do not represent the majority well... they should hire you as a Community Manager, you would fit right in.

no, they will say "we heard the healer feedback and are making changes to their DPS"
then they will hard code it so it cannot be changed from #2 button/key
and be immensely proud about having listened to the healer feedback....

There's a part of me that thinks they're going to continue to ignore healers and DRK because one of the main problems is everyone knows best and the people who want changes to their main job can't even agree with each other so square throws their hands up and walks away. I'm not sure if the healer strike is doing anything but I am noticing more and more the AIN is healer, so maybe it's having an impact but the question is on who? I don't bother posting about DRK changes anymore because they're gonna do whatever they want and it's not unplayable it's just frustrating that certain classes got patched right away after launch because their 7.0 design was nonsensical (SAM) but all they had to do to fix DRK was the same sort of changes and nope...if square is gonna do whatever they want then fine but at least do something.
I think you're missing the fact that this poster is VERY clearly being sarcastic and possibly also poking fun at a certain catboy who frequents the forums.ah yes... the "vast vast vast majority" who are strangely silent...

It has given so many WAR players very annoying main character syndrome, even if its pretty much hopeless for them to solo they'll still try and waste everyones time even worse when its actually possible. Really need to limit the self healing a lot more on them and PLDs too.
They hated him because he spoke the truth
Almost every bad design decision in this game can ultimately be traced back to community feedback.
I have stressed before that when players complain about jobs and the devs listen to their complaints, the jobs end up worse for it
see: DRK. Perfectly fine in Stormblood and only needed to cut back a bit on dark arts spam. Gets gutted because people complained

God yes this is the worst lol! Especially when there’s a stack mechanic that they know they’re not going to have an invuln for so it’s pretty much just a matter of time until they drop. Like, you waited all that time for something we all knew was coming, and for what? To showboat?! lolIt has given so many WAR players very annoying main character syndrome, even if its pretty much hopeless for them to solo they'll still try and waste everyones time even worse when its actually possible. Can we stop turning every thread on this forum into "we hate tanks" ? There are already several about that, and they're all the same tired argument rehashed a few dozen ways.
