I don't give a damn what you think Rift is as far as its novelty. Its content is newly developed even if its ideas and concepts aren't. Rift is more developed than XIV. Period. Rift has earned the privilege to run a holiday event. FFXIV has not.

Rift gives rift more quests, more NMs, more raids, more content than XIV does at its launch than XIV does at month 6 of its retail history...and XIV gives us another worthless holiday event.

It makes this game look even more pathetic to run a Holiday event than to not run it at all. Now even if they AREN'T wasting their time on this stupid crap, it LOOKS like they are.
