    All roads lead to allag.
Incidentally the only other places we’ve seen blue hobguys are EO and syrcus tower. Perhaps galuf brought more than just a magic doorstop to the new world - pyros has the allagan aetheryte in that cave by the entrance, so we know for sure he was dabbling with them. This does unfortunately add zarol ja to the implausibly young group, but that’s not really notable. Allagan chimeras are also mentioned as being mentally unstable in ee1 I think so that could explain away his madness and seeming delusional belief that he stood a hope in hell of fighting garlemald let alone the rest of the old world.

I think it's less insanity and more lack of information. Garlemald has been thoroughly defeated and devastated, so anyone who can cope with the climate and territory, would probably have an easy time to defeat them, as they are right now.
What Zoraal probably doesn't know, is how many others are willing to come to Garlemald's aid, despite how bitter enemies they were not too long ago. And yes, once faced with a multi-front war, coupled with clear reluctance of a significant part of his own country to go to war, his real chances are nil... but he most likely didn't know that.

But speaking of banding together, I wonder if Sharlayan would have gotten themselves involved, if the invasion actually happened. With their great purpose, for which they absolutely had to continue to exist, now fulfilled, I can easily see them become quite willing to at least provide non-military aid, and while far less likely, maybe even fully join the war, if the enemy proofes sufficiently dangerous on a global scale.

That's probably a "the devs didn't want to waste time making more than one model for the non playable races" issue, rather than the Yok Huy actually not having any visible sexual dimorphism. Most, if not all beast tribes allied societies only have a single character model even though we know that there are both male and female goblins, vanu, kobolds, etc.

Oh, of course, asset limitations are common and understandable. I think what I found unexpected about this specific example is that it's the only time I can recall when the devs made a race that explicitly has gender while sharing a model, while also giving that model entirely exposed human-like breasts. Which I'm fine with, it's just not the norm so it surprised me a bit.
