Well, both have their styles. Each have their own unique characteristics.

As much as I like the art style of FFXIV, I still prefer XI's Garuda. I just feel that for a wind element, there should be some kind of elegance. Some feathery, natural, "elemental" feel to it. I'm not saying XIV's doesn't share that, but something about XI's Garuda design speaks more to me for a wind avatar.

Really? I feel like since wind spells always seemed to deal damage with air so pressurized that it was razor sharp (a theory especially backed up in this game by Aerora's bleed effect), a wind elemental should reflect the razor sharp nature of wind magic, and not be light and breezy. I love the Garuda of this game.

I think the XIV Garuda is more true to her root inspiration: a harpy. She shouldn't be elegant. She should be all talons and sharp teeth, waiting to lure you in so she can eat the flesh off your bones.

Yup that's how she should be I love both Garuda models tho but the XIV has me learning for it more shame she wont be a pet for smn's tho T.T.
