Greenlight NA and EU Travel

I don't understand why people think that EU is going to go to NA to raid. When you're used to less than 100ms ping, anything with 150ms ping is a nightmare. If anything, EU folks on NA will go to EU to raid.

I play on 250ms ping, and if I could convince my static to meet on OCE where I have 188ms ping, I'd do it in a heartbeat. But they don't want to play on 150ms ping lol.





I agree, considering how much my EU friends complain about the ping when they're playing on NA, it will likely have all the EU people moving to EU to raid or do content.

yes this, people who are already staticing and raiding on EU aren't gonna jump to NA cause then they'd have to relearn how to play at a higher ping level, Im EU and started on NA with friends, its far easier adjusting downwards than it is starting with low ping and adjusting up.

SE needs to let materia players travel to NA and EU. Materia players only have 1 datacenter and they cannot travel anywhere right now its very unfair imo. JP, NA and EU can travel to materia but materia players are stuck on 1 datacenter makes no sense at all.

The thing is materia players should not be stuck on 1 datacenter let them travel to other datacenters on NA and EU or just NA. Anything is better then being stuck on 1 datacenter its worse then dynamis dc situation.

Materia players not being able to leave helps prevent a Dynamis situation, where everyone on Dynamis left there for most content.

When Materia is deemed populated enough to stand on its own feet, then it would make sense to let them travel away from it. That might be the case now or maybe it's not, I'm just saying it's good being locked with people only able travel to it at first

Materia DC only got 1 datacenter
Dynamis DC always was able to travel to other datacenters
Materia DC doesn't have any other datacenter where they can travel and it came out 2 years ago or so.

My comments don't even mention raiding. There are venues or people just wanting to visit their friends on other DCs. Right now we have people on the NA DCs who can't even go visit other NA DCs because of the restrictions put into place with 7.05. If they want to make it so NA can go to EU, that's great. But they shouldn't add to the problems NA DC players already have just among ourselves by adding the ability for other regional DCs to come over to NA at this time. Not until they fix it so the NA DC players can freely travel among our own region's DCs without having to squeeze in on a low activity time or get relegated to only traveling to Dynamis.

Yes, please do replicate "Walmart in Germany" with NA player run venues on EU DCs because it worked so well.
