I died inside. I wonder if it's intentional...? No way right...Worqor Zormor
Playing as DRK and announce in chat "Popping {Living Dead} this pull." and the healer responds positively. Dope, they understand the assignment. Get to near death and I'm near one hit from death with 2 seconds on Living Dead and I see the CURE popup text go off on me. "Oh dear god no" I think to myself as Living Dead wears off and I have no health... *dead*.
I think the fact it was a Cure 1 made it all the more painful an experience. I guess if I popped Living Dead just a tiny bit later my health bar would have been fine but who can plan for a Cure 1?
The SMN was also off, but at least they were pressing their dps buttons and trying to contribute. If you want the damage percents from the forbidden number monkey:
DNC: 33.83%
DRK: 33.22%
SMN: 24.53%
WHM: 5%
Healer damage is also important. Saying that the whm shouldn't have to dps and can just sit there and spam Medica II/Regen/Cure1/Cure2 is an awful mindset, which is what the whm we had did most of the time until they had literally 0 mp left. 10 back-to-back Medica IIs is something that I really shouldn't see. 1 use of PoM the entire run is something I really shouldn't have to see. 4 uses of Lucid Dreaming during both the wipe run and clear run is something I really shouldn't have to see.
As someone who primarily plays whm, it crushed my soul to see this.
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
Whoa. It sounds like the healer was trolling you. No one can plan for a Cure I.Worqor Zormor

I don't know, man. If groups fail simply because of a Healer not doing 100 potency attacks, then something is wrong, and it isn't the healer.
Get M1, with three DPS first timers.
End up Main Tanking because one of the sages trusted me first.
Floor breaks, first timers repeatedly aim their knock backs off the edge.
Accidentally trip on the tiniest gap running to boss because I'm too focused thinking about my burst window which I've now missed, but I get rezzed immediately!
...I forget rezz immunity doesn't protect against knockback and fall off again immediately after.
We clear. I thank healers and run out in embarrassment.
...Find out shortly after the one non-first timer DPS had the secret goblin and uploaded my failure.
Ow.

I had a Gunbreaker with the 900 GNB duties title not use Heart of Light in Savage and the Scholar blamed everyone else. I forgave the Scholar becuase flexing the 900 title shows that MAYBE he knew what he was doing so no one suspected it.

Still the fact stands that if you needed the WHM damage in Ultimate Weapon Normal your whole party didn‘t do it‘s job
When I was in a dungeon roulette, someone was learning how to heal (or tank maybe? I don't remember which) and another member of the party was giving them advice, but in a really hostile way. i.e. "Why are you not using [x] move? You're wasting opportunities to make this dungeon finish faster" and similar. Everything sounded judgy. So I told the person to be kinder, especially since they had the mentor tag (I did, too, at the time). We got all the way to the final boss, and the person being the aggressive advice-giver said something else that came across as rude to me and I told them I'd report them for harassment if they couldn't be nicer. The healer (or tank), to my surprise, thanked the hostile advice giver and, without anything else said, I suddenly found myself vote kicked from the party??? Still a little salty about that lmao. I was just trying to make sure someone wasn't ruining another's experience.
Another roulette story: during the NIER raid with the lasers that can wipe other parties if aimed at them, I watched a healer rescue someone across the room so it made the beam kill the other alliance instead of being aimed away. Ngl, it was pretty funny.
