Darksteel ore (Can I have it?)

Where did it come from back in the day?
Anyone still have ANY?
Where will it come from after tomorrow?
Can we expect to see higher grade nodes?

I want to say it came from grade 5's but really rarely.

From talking to my friends, you used to get the stuff from La Noscea. I'm sure there are other hoarders out there, so I'm sure there must be some somewhere.

According to YG, Grade 4 at Cedarwood. But that's Iron/Cobalt now.

Been leveling gsm off Dated Darksilver Rings (well, dated electrum now) which is two silver nuggets and a pinch of Brimstone.

Maybe Darksteel will be the same as the Steel recipe but with an added hard-to-find ingredient?

thats what I was thinking until I saw that they specifically said "Darksteel ore"
Had they said "Darksteel ingots" then I'd be thinking maybe it was a recipe using other stuff...
But being that it's "ore" I'd imagine you get it from somewhere

But in xi dark steel ingots were made with one darksteel ore and three iron.

I would guess that because there was a main page post on new Darksteel recipes the other day that the new patch will provide means for us to start getting them? I thought they were going to leave it for grade 6+ nodes, but YAY at getting some now. =D I made my entire FFXI living off of Darksteel Ores. @_@
