What the.... from when did primals drop more than one chest!?!?!?!!? what hack did you use!?
Yep full of wind alright. If the drop rate is worst than Ifrit, I'll be passing wind right at Garuda and doing other things with my game play.

Maybe something productive would happen if the official forums weren't at LEAST 95% apologists and trolls. You got me, I guess. Troll successful.
I find it perplexing that you consider talking to an NPC to get a mount, and defeating a (supposedly) difficult fight to get a weapon, as both being "freebies". You do realize that Ifrit doesn't kill himself, yeah? If he did, or he was just an NPC you talked to in order to obtain an Ifrit's weapon, sure, you could say it was "handed out to us".
I hope the devs realize that most of the people who still play Final Fantasy XIV are one (or more) of the following:
1) REALLY optimistic that 2.0 will save lives, mend marriages, and end world hunger
2) willing to put up with a lot of abuse
3) are just incredibly stupid (ie, they LOVE terribad drop rates and apparently have nothing better to do with their lives)
If you think killing a primal 200 times to maybe get the 1 weapon you actually wanted is right and proper, then rest assured that if this never changes, everyone who still plays the game in a year or less will absolutely agree with you. Everyone else will have quit or decided this game isn't a productive use of their free time (being as it's more like a painful job rather than happy fun play time).
As I've stated previously, if stuff is to be hard to acquire, it should be due to CHALLENGE, not on hoping you win the lottery. If you want anyone to actually play this game, you might want to start agreeing with that sentiment. Otherwise, if you convince the devs this is all cool, I guarantee you the population will never rise out of the gutter.
Ok garuda is defiantly bugged. She spawned 7 clones instead of her sister. i would post a screen shot but it crashed and melted my computer

Actually, in 2.0 we get to modify bust __"size"_______.
wha...? only 797 kills...? you lucky sonufa....
no freakin' way... DON'T TELL THEM EVERYTHING DAMNIT!!!
ohey on the plus side, now that this thread has been created and everything possibly negative about garuda has been said, um... maybe we can avoid having to bring this up next week okay?
You must be mad at one of my posts.. (which most of them are pretty obvious when I'm trolling and most are followed up with something relevant to the topic). Don't hate me for saying my opinion, you and your 21 posts can go elsewhere if your not adding anything constructive to the convo.
I see you misunderstood my point. I was simply referring to the free gouboue mount spoiling people into complaining that they don't get an ifrit weapon for let's say 5-10 tries. I have seen those complainers. I was the guy who had to work for all 10 totems for my Gladiator blade, I worked for 20 nut charms for my mog wand. It's not that bad if you work for it, and it keeps absolutely everyone from having them. Yeah Ifrit doesn't kill himself, neither does Mog... You made the mistake of assuming I'm some sort of noob and think like one. Go do something better with your time, perhaps post on these forums a bit more so you can find out who your bashing on the forums.I find it perplexing that you consider talking to an NPC to get a mount, and defeating a (supposedly) difficult fight to get a weapon, as both being "freebies". Let's be realistic, 200 times is more than enough tries to have most of the weapons.
Challenge is hard to implement in an mmo, especially with class stacking. Let's again be realistic, because not every primal/dungeon fight is perfect, Challenge is there for a short time until someone finds a work around on the fight. Take note, My early Ifrit and Mog runs were not class stack runs.As I've stated previously, if stuff is to be hard to acquire, it should be due to CHALLENGE, not on hoping you win the lottery. If you want anyone to actually play this game, you might want to start agreeing with that sentiment. Otherwise, if you convince the devs this is all cool, I guarantee you the population will never rise out of the gutter.
The loot system isn't perfect, and needs work, I'll give you that. But it's not as bad as people say it is, definitely not 200 kills for 1 weap.
