There's a lot of thinly veiled attacks, and some not so thinly veiled ones. Acting like most of the hate is coming at her for these other reasons is somewhat disingenuous.

Also, the poster says he's gay so he gets it, but the right is trying to deny trans people even exist, not that's it's immoral or anti-christian. They don't exist.

This statement definitely sounds like it was SPECIFICALLY talking about Sena and most likely Kate as well, but Yoshi couldn't name drop of course so he just made it a blanket statement with "Voice actors and localization team" and hoping we'd get the context and the implications.

I know it's BAFFLING to hear this being said on the modern internet: But Death Threats and harassment are never okay.

You can dislike Sena for the tweets they have sent out and viewpoints they have, but once you start constantly saying a bunch of abhorrent things to them and telling them they really need to "Kurt Cobain Themselves" [Look it up yourselves] and then saying you'll be happy if/when they do, then you've taken your dislike of someone way too far. This also extends to the other VA's of Wuk Lamat as well. Yes, Sena's voice acting of Wuk Lamat was...not good, but French/German/Japanese all did the best they could with what they were given, so also sending them harassment and death threats is pathetic, doubly so if they are getting said harassment and threats simply because of the stuff Sena has tweeted out and some players just decided to go "One Wuk bad, so ALL Wuk's bad." It definitely is not really fair to the other Voice Actresses of Wuk Lamat to get treated poorly by players just because of Sena's actions and words.

Yes there are absolutely people who are harassing because they are indeed Transphobic or Misogynistic and should be clowned on for it. At the same time, some players reducing any and ALL feedback someone might have about Wuk Lamat to "You're only saying this because you MUST be misogynistic/transphobic" are also not helping anything by trying to generalize people and make feedback suddenly "disappear by owning the bigots." People genuinely dislike Wuk Lamat and not everything has to have an alternative agenda behind it.

The issue ultimately lies with Dawntrail's story and how Wuk Lamat was written. Even if they got rid of Sena for another English VA, or changed all of Wuk's VAs across all languages: No amount of good Voice Acting is going to suddenly make a shit story less shit, it just makes it more tolerable to sit through and digest.

For some reason I don't believe an incendiary person using sexist and racist talking points (except directed towards the "other" side) should be used as a poster girl for the LGBTQ community, or the political left.

But that's just me.
