Losing loot when INV is full.

Sort through what you don't need/want...ok, your loot list holds all your items you currently obtained, open it, click the item you don't want, hit discard.

Simple.

This actually becomes a horribly time consuming process, believe you me I speak from experience.

I can't wait for 6 bags.

it takes less than 5 minutes.

when you do this a few times a day every day those 5 minutes add up to a lot of speed runs or synths, you must admit.

Bags, drag and drop, new UI and faster server system which the new UI is designed for.... i'd say it will make a HUGE difference when it comes to managing your inventory and when using the UI overall too.

new ui and faster selling times doesnt change the system as it is though

that has NOTHING to do with inventory management

and since when does drag and drop become faster then "click to sell" which we have now?

Try click and sell, go to WOW or other mmos that use drag and drop and then let's have that conv again. If it's not faster then you are doing it wrong.

i dont know, ive played these other mmos, and its not much faster then what i do here

but then again as i said, i never let my inventory get out of control, i have my routing and it gets checked every time i get back from a trip

and other games also have this nifty sell all feature, which is the only way things really get faster(not counting the extra complaints from selling stuff by accident through that) but thats another issue meant for a buyback discussion, which we are gtting anyway so its a moot point

As am I, I discard food ingredients as I'm not a cook, I discard ores I no longer need to skill up and so on. It saves me a ton of space lol. I guarantee most people are full on random crafting/gathering materials and not gear because there's no gear swap in this game during battle so unless you know you'll be on a mage job which actually can benefit from gear swap, very unlikely to be maxed out in inv space with a lot of useful stuff.

My 530 inventory spaces are split rather evenly between Gear, Gathered items, and Materia...

I really have no problem with over abundance and I don't feel burdened by having to occasionally throw away or npc items but like I am looking forward to 6 different Bags.

As for the OP concern I have never mistakenly lost an item in my loot list that I wanted for the fact that i have inventory macro'd to Y and when i methodically check my loot by pressing why then tab twice to loot list qo in that in the process I see what I have in my inventory, bazaar and loot.

It's as easy as it gets. Three clicks and you're there.

i have everything at 50

i craft all 8 crafts still

and i gather a ton

i also do tons of leves

anything for achievments basicaly

and i NEVER NEVER NEVER have inventory issues either

and even if i did, i ALWAYS drop stuff off when i get back from any farming trip, or vendor after etc etc, so my inventory is always managable

its really not that hard to do this, and i dont see why people cant do it also

if you dont have time to do the smallest tasks, how do you have time to even play the game at all?
