But they literally put near enough everything to that character, so the problems become a lot more exacerbated

What is your problem? Seriously, my sub is gone this month, so I have questions.

I have never seen someone be this ride or die for XIV on this forum. Even with Titanmen, or JamieRose, or other people who are banned from this place or who aren't but consistently have a posting style that is off-topic or confrontational, I have always been able to tell that in their minds at least, they thought they were justified in their behavior, or it was just a big joke to them.

I have literally no idea why you consistently post like this, with so much disdain for other people's opinions. I won't even make up something crazy like your repeated maliciousness towards minorities versus the nebulous silent majority belies a overarching hatred of marginalized groups.

Are you being paid? Are you trolling? If not, where is the loyalty coming from? Why is FFXIV specifically so important to you, that you have to come to this "echo chamber" as you call it, to defend it from it's "attackers", you know, those people who can't post here unless they actively give SE money, just like you?

I don't understand. What do you even do in this game man? You don't heal often, but you'll disparage people in the healer threads. But not the healer forums? You've never posted in the role forums, I don't think. If there is a discussion about the story, you'll discount people's perspectives and interpretation in favor of your own. You sit in here, and try to diminish or insult anyone who just isn't a fan of what's going on right now. Even Yoshida, your God, has said the reaction to DT was mixed, even through his legendary PR speak. Even if the post-MSQ is good, you still need to trudge through the trash to get there. What else do you need? When is it okay to you, for someone to dislike the game and offer feedback for why they are unhappy through the channels that SE themselves have said we need to use for the game that we paid for? Do we need to be at 1.0 levels? Gordias levels? Does the financials of Square Enix need to be at a certain point? Do people need to be laid off like at Bungie for feedback to be allowed? Do we need surveys? What's the point where we are allowed to complain about the game without you coming in here and being so mean?

And before you flip this back on me, "my problem" is that Square Enix, through their poor decision making and nonexistent communications has effectively gutted the game I have loved to play for most of the last decade. It has ceased to exist, and I'd be lying if I didn't ascribe some blame to both the developers and people like you who attempt to bury negative feedback for why that happened. I don't have Classic servers I can go back to, there is no FFXIV Stormblood 4.55 client. So while I am not stuck, it'd be great if I just had a good version of DRK to play, at the bare minimum. They can't even do that.

Why are you still here, if you hate other people giving negative opinions so much? Why not just stay in the game or wherever you came from where this stuff isn't talked about?

Yoshi P confirming that he knew it would be mixed more or less proves the theory that there was a lack of criticism within this project. No one put their foot down and said "hey that's a bad idea, hey that needs another draft". That's a big problem. Google "how to give employee feedback" or something. It's not worth tanking your valuable IP to spare some egos.

I said this when the discussion surrounding DT was heating up in its first or second week.
You can tolerate this level of writing, really, it's fine if you truly enjoy it.
I have to ask though, how low would you wait until you'd start to call them out?

People taking their time and energy to come here and write their feelings are not to be disregarded.
We are all here want to improve the game and pitching ideas, more so as customers paying hard-earned money.

You cannot convince me that this expansion MSQ is quality work without lobotomising me beforehand.

This could not have been said any better. I legit thought I wad going into a good story but by the ending im left wondering....is this nation gonna crash and burn.....

I hope the writers are brave enough to let that happen. Then, let the debate between whether we help Wuk Lamat or oppose her for being an unfit ruler be the issue which delivers the promised divide between the Scions.

I mean the clues are all there.

She obtains the Dawn Servant throne then immediately sticks Koana with it, and runs off with the WoL. Wuk Lamat should be in Tuliyollal for her people, not jumping into danger in Yyasulani and Solution Nine. She's naive, immature, and reckless. In other words, a spoiled teenager. I would not be surprised if we have to confront Wuk Lamat when her power goes to her head.

If FFXIV was like WoW and we had 4.55 version of the game I can assure you people will go back to it after finishing new content

I was in ARR at that point so I didn't try DRK at that time,
White mage was a lot of fun,
Scholar was great,
Paladin feel like paladin,
warrior have skill expression,

these the jobs I have played and it wasn't perfect but they were fun
