Mao thinkings problem Jojoya mentions can be easily solved by adding new furnishings called "minions crib/pen" whats would allow minions roam around inside its. Maybe make differents sizes with bigger ones allowing more minions. To gets best effect, pens should has very low walls for ease of visions and even smallest of thems should be fairly large to allow roamings.

Invisible minion walls? Set them up to avoid furnishings. Easier to create a new item with no appearance than edit all furnishings for minion collision detection.
