The characters sound good in JP. I dislike all the english voice actors entirely. I don't like their accent either of them sounding like their noises are stuffy.

Personal prefernce and all. Personally, I hate the JP voiceover because it feels like everyone is overacting like it's a shonen anime. The English version is, for the most part, how people actually talk.

It's a bit unpopular and has a reputation for sticking one foot in the shit/so game.

I said in another thread for people wanting a response to the story. That should Yoshi address the story the answer would not be what they want to hear. Did we not learn anything from Yoshi's response to EW story criticism? I guess not but now people know what to expect answer wise from him on story matters.

I'm not a native speaker, either. I think Dawntrail just has some weird voice directing choices which are, by far, not limited to Sena. In multiple situations I was taken out of the cutscene by a weirdly delivered line where it felt like the VAs weren't given enough context. And I think this is the case with the final trial as well. Sena has done other voice acting work as well and it's fine from what I've heard, so it really seems more like a direction issue than anything else.

Besides, it's not like this game has award worthy voice acting in the first place. There are some VAs who knock their roles out of the park (Zenos comes to mind because no matter what you think about him as a character, his VA did AMAZING) but the vast majority are just good. Not excellent, not bad, just good. Passable. Perfectly OK.

It's not, people have been through this multiple times and Sena herself says she has a hard time doing female voices. If she screams or strain her vocal cords more then it'll sound like a male voice, thus why the screams are bad. Source: Her twitter. It's not purely the direction, the fault is on Sena as well for struggling to maintain a certain tone/amplitude.

The showcase reels were male voices for screams, which is fine, but never a female one until we got Wuk Lamat and that's all we can base it on. You need to showcase female roles screaming to get a better comparison. Even VAs like Ben Diskin can't scream loudly using a female voice, so it can be a struggle for VAs.

So lets stop lying to go off topic with focusing on Sena and instead focus on the topic yeah? About how both JP and Global are pissed off at YoshiP and Dawntrail/Golden Legacy because it's crap product.
