It's not just about being Large. These Puglist Weapons are not just large, they are blatantly absurd. Yeah, I get it, it's fun to be silly sometimes. But you have to compensate for people who want to take themselves a little seriously too.

Clouds Weapons in VII were outrageously big, but at least they looked like weapons.

I know, and it was a completely different aesthetic too, lest we forget. Certain things just dont mesh well together. They just don't. This should not be an alien concept. And yet people would insist that Power Rangers belong in Game of Thrones and Sailor Moon Cosplayers should have been cast in Lord of the Rings movie trilogy instead of Hobbits. I mean, like, that's their idea of "tastefully done".

This game's general aesthetic could change, this equipment could be an indication of that. I mean they are changing the grahpics engine with 2.0, with it they could be changing how a lot of things look. I mean these are the artists/modelers for the game, they're going to do what they want really. If they say it fits within the aesthetic direction of the game, who are we to really argue with them? They are the ones who have created the look of the world and everything in it.

well in 1.22 you have job gc and garuda, i think garuda and af look nice. I also like the blocks but can understand that some people don't but i still think that the other 2 are tastefully done enough that people shouldn't complain.

We are Legacy Players, and apparently we are being given credit for helping to re-design this game and will be included in the credits of 2.0.

Through Player Polls and Forum Posts we have greatly influenced the direction XIV is taking. Go back and look at the "One Long Zone" thread. They are gonna smash a moon/satellite into the planet in order to give us what we wanted.
