I just don’t like the match making in CC casuals. It’s terrible. Sitting at over 2300 wins. I’m always getting matched with people who don’t have much skill or even try sometimes and “the system” just wants me to try to carry since my win rate is high or my wins in general just puts me in a place in the que with people who just aren’t good.
Yes I know CC casuals match making doesn’t matter but come on I’d still like to fight against people with equal to or at least higher than my win rate. The matches are way more fun when everyone knows what they’re doing and trying hard together. Now I get mostly matched with players who don’t even press recuperate or use guard.

I meant “Fight with” not against.
Conceptually, this sounds fine. However, not sure how this is going to work. Gonna give a hypothetical that might explain it better.I just don’t like the match making in CC casuals. It’s terrible. Let's say there are 4 brackets. 0-499, 500-999, 1000-1499, 1500+. Let's say you are in the 1000-1499 bracket. You want to play with those who are equal or higher. Equal would be the 1000-1499, higher would be the 1500+. You don't want to play with those in the lower two brackets; You want to play with the upper 2. However, those in the 1500+ might not want to play with the lower 3 brackets. Let's take that a step further. If you only group with a certain range, then your queue times could be pretty drastic. The pools would be limited, whereas right now, they are just a dumping ground for anyone queuing. If they were implement MMR in casual, the next complaint would be why the queues aren't popping in certain brackets, and to just let people queue for matches since it's casual. It's like a never ending cycle that I'm not sure is going to have a great solution.

Yeah that sounds reasonable. If people aren’t in those high tier brackets then your right que times can be terrible. But can things just be more equal though. Li’s the I know there are people who are new to PvP and learning to play. That’s fine. Like, I feel it’s unfair to put them all on my team thinking I can carry it when the other team has the top tier people on it and they just ravage through my team so fast. It’s so unfair. I say make both parties on sorta equal footing or as equal as they can become. Don’t just disable one team because one person has allot of wins on CC casual.Conceptually, this sounds fine. While they could do such a matchmaking system based on the ranked mode tier. If a player doesn't play a season, his ranking would be reduced and eventually he would be unranked - being treated as a complete newbie in such a system if he enters casual queue.
A more permanent rank also exists, though its concept was abandoned around stormblood. The PvP rank goes up to 50. Once you get them from all grand companies to 50 they could add a universal one that just keeps climbing based on PvP activity. So you have at least the people that played significantly more, evenly distributed among the teams.
Iirc there were titles for ranks 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100 that ended up never being used. Reusing the concept for this sounds good.A more permanent rank also exists, though its concept was abandoned around stormblood. The PvP rank goes up to 50. What are you on about square enix employee. WHAT are you on about. It was the same before 6.1 in terms of "popularity" exactly the same, CC queue completely dead AKA feast, then frontline popping all day, literally 0 changes

I don't particularly agree with balance being obscenely bad, but Monk vs literally any caster is still a thing in CC.
Did you play a caster and roll into Monk? Prepare to do nothing the entire game and play a 4v5 with you being out if the monk isn't drooling on their keyboard.
DRK in Frontline is unironically the best job in the game and needs an entirely different kit specifically for that mode alone. In CC it's fine, but in Frontline it warps the entire mode around itself and has rapidly drained any enjoyment out of the mode.
