If you think 6.1 was this bad you would not have survive the brutal era that was 4.0.
Don't get me wrong, this wasn't my favorite expansion. However, with the recreation that took place the devs were going in the right direction, even if I hated it. They just showed too much love for only one mode. I can only hope that they don't repeat the same mistake.

Yeah surely a mode that's been the most popular by far without the need for daily roulettes is by FAR the worst it has ever been.
I sure remember how Feast casual used to insta pop at all times of the day.
What are you on about square enix employee. WHAT are you on about. It was the same before 6.1 in terms of "popularity" exactly the same, CC queue completely dead AKA feast, then frontline popping all day, literally 0 changes

I also find monk extremely oppressive. You don't need to play a caster, a ranged can also be locked out of a fight because of it. I've always hoped for meteodrive to be changed (as some threads last year can show). Although at least here on Light the best MNKs don't play the job like this, and tend to play it as an unkillable tank. I feel that this playstyle trying to lock someone out of the fight by reducing your participation in team engagements can be a benefit if it's a caster or high damage profile, but you're still also removing your own (powerful) strengths from the picture as well, so in my opinion it's not really high level play. But the design of the job created this so you'll not get an argument against yours from me on that one for sure.I don't particularly agree with balance being obscenely bad, but Monk vs literally any caster is still a thing in CC.
Did you play a caster and roll into Monk? Prepare to do nothing the entire game and play a 4v5 with you being out if the monk isn't drooling on their keyboard.
DRK in Frontline is unironically the best job in the game and needs an entirely different kit specifically for that mode alone. In CC it's fine, but in Frontline it warps the entire mode around itself and has rapidly drained any enjoyment out of the mode.
FLs is (and has always been since day 1) a trainwreck and needs more than just half assed measures on innate DR (which also favors melees like crazy already).
