Culturally appropriate voice acting contributes to a richer, more inclusive delivery of the story. When diverse cultures are represented with the respect and authenticity they deserve, overall the ability to deliver the story improves.

Also, avoiding harmful stereotypes when engaging in a story with BIPOC characters is important in celebrating the culture respectfully. Someone already mentioned earlier, the characters with "Jaja" in their names... That would have been a disaster had SE not gone the extra mile to actually include diverse voices in the playing of these characters.

My Spanish isn't the best so hearing a made up gender on a word takes all my processing power to figure out WTF they're trying to say.
The only time I've heard or saw the attempt of the gender neutral one, the one ending in "e", it's usually from politicians or companies, and every time the response I see it's "habla bien" followed by a swear word.
If I heard someone using it in conversation, I'm pretty sure I would walk away. I'd rather appear rude than hear that.

Please, for the love of all that's unholy, find a new way to deal with your personal sense of guilt.

One that doesn't include being condescending to anyone "below" you.

I think it is hardly condescending to draw attention to something objectively good for the community. Especially in light of the question being posited.

    No, it is "objectively good".

You're trying to colonize my language.

Just food for thought - when someone from a society you want to help tells you that your way of helping is doing more harm than good, it may be time to reevaluate the way you are helping.
This message is written this vague on purpose.

Oop. Someone got their wires crossed and confused 'subjective' with 'objective' again. Easy mistake.

If it is "objectively good," then why is it a demonstrable, and more to the point by now entirely predictable, negative?

You will, one day, be forced to reckon with these failures produced so regularly I can practically set my watch by them, and reconcile them with your assertions as to their excellence. Hopefully, you are made to do so before I go to meet my maker, because that will be fucking hilarious to witness.

What does this even mean? And where were you during Heavensward and Stormblood.

Blatantly looking through an american lens.

Oh, that an easy one, You see, the virtue signaling gang are just a bunch of racist who only care about victims mentality. So you know, since they consider white people to be the ''majority'' they strip them of their cultural identity and just decide that what they would call a ''white role'' is just a normal role. So you know, anyone can play it.

For Stormblood it even worst, You see, the stereotype about Asian is that they are good at math and technology, and sucessfull in live, so they get stripped of out their ''minority'' status and it okay to ignore them like they don't exist.

I wish this was a joke, but trust me, after years of seeing their clown shows all over medias. You would be surprise how weird they are. For people that pretend to care about inclusivity, they are quick to strip out your culture the moment in convenient to them. I've seen some of them go as far as tell some people that they ain't ''real *insert minority here*'' cause they disagree with them.

The virtue signaling club just care about creating a culture war, rather than solving the issue they claim to fight against.
