Ok, now try dc travelling to aether in the evening.I'm kind of confused on what this thread is:
- I made a random character on Golem, Dynamis and attempted to DC travel them to Aether which went through, just with a bit of a longer queue (3:28s). So that seems to be working as intended minus the slightly longer queue (which makes sense since they'll prioritize natives to the DC over travelers now, which is a good thing so the people that actually pay to play on that server/DC can be on it)
- I also attempted to DC transfer another character of mine on Marilith, Dynamis to the Primal DC and was prompted with the payment screen. So that also seems to be working as intended. This character is older than 3 months though so it wouldn't have the requirement to stay on the DC.
So...what exactly do you want compensation for? Longer queue times? The forced 3 month wait that's mandatory for anyone who transfers to/makes a character on a DC classified as "new"? As far as I can see, if you hit that 3 month mark you can dip out of there or just DC travel to another server and hang out there until your timer runs out (like most people who moved to Dyna just for housing lol).
"Agenda" lmao
having to log in 10 hrs in advance and never log out is not a solution, if you think so, idk what to tell you.
Is it possible to get there even with a wait longer than you might like? This genuinely isn't talked about on the servers I play on so it doesn't seem to be this massive issue the forums have with it. I feel if DC travel was just screwed up everywhere, it would be talked about more. It sounds more like an isolated incident potentially on Aether, which I would raise the question (if the queue times are as drastically bad as some claim, in the realm of multiple hour waits): Do you have to specifically meet there or can you compromise and attend your static on another DC for that night to make it as easy as possible for all of your members?
And if I happen to be free and remember this thread exists later I'll check it out but I do have the ability to be patient and do other things while I wait.

That's the problem, at least to Aether you literally cannot be patient, once the late afternoon/evening/night begin, it's fully closed, there's not a single server you can go to, you have to go like 10+ hrs in advance, and even then, you might just have a disconnect in the meantime and not be able to go back, all the worlds are completely greyed out.Is it possible to get there even with a wait longer than you might like? So again, why do you need to go to Aether? Does everything just fall apart if you can't and your static can't function? If you have a full party then, as far as I see it, where you run prog/reclears is irrelevant. Hell, even if you have members missing the same should apply, I run PF progs on Crystal and it doesn't take long to fill groups. You just need a place all of you can get to. I'll give the RPers some validity here that you can't move venues so that can be a pain if you can't get there, but statics I feel should be able to just go wherever is convenient for everyone to attend. That's the problem, at least to Aether you literally cannot be patient, once the late afternoon/evening/night begin, it's fully closed, there's not a single server you can go to, you have to go like 10+ hrs in advance, and even then, you might just have a disconnect in the meantime and not be able to go back, all the worlds are completely greyed out.
I'll test it out later if I'm able to, that's all I can say on the claims you're making.
