I guess I'm in a bit of cognitive dissonance.
I really want an MMO that can make the realistic beautiful and fantastic. A low fantasy setting like Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones, but with actual color and with more magic.
But these items are so original and creatively designed that I find myself really liking them.

The game is moving towards a high fantasy setting. That's already been put in motion and they're only redesigning once. But I'm sad to be without a game in the style that I was pulled into when it began.
In a world full of WoW copies, Korean dreamscapes, and under-saturated attempts at gritty 'realism', It was so original to have a game heavy in fantasy, but with believable and practical equipment.

This is definition of good now? Lets not be biased here, it's basically 4 weapon types reskinned.

It's a decent starting point, unlike the current collection of the high-tiered PUG weapons.
