I've never played mch because it has seemed to be weak since it was introduced. Shame.

I keep saying it: Give MCH a rez. Defibrillators exist.

Have you tried being knocked over when queen is out, especially when she's about to execute pile bunker? 11/10, would recommend. Best part is you can't know exactly when you're gonna be targeted by the boss, and holding during the whole duration screws so bad with the obnoxious battery plans we have in DT anyway...This made even worse because fights like M1s can be kinda annoying and punishing on MCH because the stuns and knock backs generally happen at moments when tools are coming off cooldown and if you're not careful you can drift AA and CS into Narnia. There's micromanagement that isn't reflective of hitting like a wet paper bag
I'm currently leveling a MCH cause I want to do the Physical DPS role quest for Dawntrail. Heard it's one of the fun ones. Is MCH really that bad? I'm doing pretty top dps in the 1-50 dungeons atm, but I assume it gets worse as I move along?

I don't think it matters outside high-end raiding. For basic story quests and roulettes you can play anything.
It's noticeably last on the desired list right now when it comes to optimizing higher-end raid teams. But for just getting through DT and doing those quests, it is fine.
I'm finally levelling mine too, and it's been fun and I like the theme and gameplay personally.
I almost switched to DNC hearing about the current dps issue. Though I dont see myself going into savage with this class, I did assume that MCH was more of a selfish dps type of ranged, so got the benefit of getting higher damage output. I guess I was wrong.

Individually it's higher than DNC or BRD. The buffs Dancer and Bard bring though pushes it's rDPS above MCH, making it the least desired DPS on an 8 man team.

Mch is kinda lame, all the skills look like mage spells :\
