I would like to know where the story is going in the post patches. I know a lot of people have disagreements about the base MSQ, but I started to watch the lore videos that recently came out. Turns out, there are lots of deep background lore in this MSQ. Its the quiet things like what the NPCs are saying, the environments, symbols, and other references. All of it is sort of hidden in plain sight, so it feels promising that this is a new beginning to a bigger story. Though what, how, and when that'll be; I have no idea. I just hope it is something we can be excited for in years to come. Dawntrail might have intentionally pushed our focus away for the time being from the major plot, but still left some breadcrumbs for us to stay intrigued. (For those who go looking for them, that is.)

You can indeed buy skips, but two issues come into play:[...] There's story skips and job boosts if people lack the patience to sit through it. I leveled a few characters up to EW out of boredom and maxed out their jobs, I'll tell you the game will work against you if you try to rush it. [...]
For sprouts there's the Road to 90 (or w.e level) which is a huge exp buff that guarantees that you're overleveled all the time.
1) I had a friend who bought quest skips and then completely got lost on how to progress their character.
2) For the skip to be effective, you need to buy both character level skips and quest skips. This might seem like a small expense, but most(?) of the world pays in dollars. And well, where I live, a quest skip package costs $25, which is equivalent to +/- 143 of my currency. Adding the level skip, we have a total of R$286. That’s very expensive.
I don’t think reaching level 100 is that difficult, as the MSQ provides the XP needed to reach this level easily. However, you are still required to go through all the quests or spend extra money, which causes many players to avoid even trying the game.
I expect absolutely nothing frankly. Just don't think they'd ever acknowledge a mess up with the MSQ. For many reasons. And historically they never really talk about story in those letters either.
But yeah. The one and most important thing I wish I could hear is in regards to the story. Maybe they don't have to outright say "we know it sucks, we're changing things completely going forward, a certain character is going away" etc, especially since that's spoiler territory they'd never visit. But maybe some wink wink hint at the fact that things will be going down story wise (hopefully soonish). That they DO have something actually exciting in store for us, they just hid it oh so well. Something like that is what I want to cope for.
Because right now I'm still mindboggled by how empty Dawntrail was in every story sense. I see zero setup. No new antagonists. I have no idea what Dawntrail added to the game at all. I could completely erase my memory of it and nothing would change.

These live letters are so predictable like all their patches so really the only thing I ever look for in these are just the random unannounced QoL. It's no wonder a lot of people cheered at the 2 dye system, its the only things that isn't more of the same rides we've had for years.

It will blow our minds away with:
-Introcution to the first Post Game story and Trial
-Second Raid Wing teaser
-Beastmaster
And other things we already knew.

I would also love this as I'm very curious about the differences between what we get and what was originally written/intended. Actually I should try and see if anyone has gone through and done this outside of the game as I imagine it would be an interesting read (especially if you could see it beside the official translation).Going back to the OP's initial post... I'd like to chime in with a frivolous idea... (inspired in part by the not great Wuk Lamat voice acting in English...)
Recently, I have been playing through the game again with Japanese audio and its amazing! However, because I can understand enough of the Japanese language I can discern that the English text does not even remotely come close to that of what is said in Japanese half of the time.
I'd love to see a Japanese dialogue to direct English translation text option.
Dont get me wrong, I love the English Localization audio too, but it would be super awesome to have a literal direct translation of the spoken dialogues for those not playing the game in their native audio. Of course it'd only be needed for the voiced dialogue parts of the game.
I know its something that will never happen. But just let me dream ^_^;
If you find such a resource let me knowI would also love this as I'm very curious about the differences between what we get and what was originally written/intended.
