Lalafell Chins Get Reworked Several Times, but Still No Growth/Viera Fixes?

Slightly inflammatory title, I know, but it at least catches people's attention.

Can we draw attention to the fact that the devs have had 5 years (probably close to 6 or more if you consider dev time during Stormblood) to fix the issue with Hrothgar and Viera being compatible with most of the hats and hairstyles in the game? Not only that, but they had an additional iteration of each with their own unique models to decide on a fix, implement it, and make plans to retroactively add them to the others. Yet, knowing this issue exists, we've had gear for the past three expansions that do not work on Hrothgar and Viera. How are we 5 years into this situation and artifact gear, of all things, isn't at least prepared to fit them at the bare minimum? I know I'm kind of whining, but Yoshi-P spent thirty minutes at one of the fanfest keynotes talking about how they reworked Lalafell chins multiple times, of all things, to ensure an adequate product, while a quarter of player options have limited hats and hair (especially so for Hrothgar hairstyles where they're locked behind face shape).

We were told player and outfit models saw reworks - some from the ground up - for the graphics update, yet they seemingly chose not to take the time to address a missing feature for two races. If the devs are planning on making this game go for at least the next ten years, you'd have expected them to at least make mention of considering fixing this problem in particular. I know that "New hairstyles have been added for certain playable races" is easy, consistent patch notes filler, but come on...

Everyone knows lala players are this game's whales. In fact, if I had to rank every race from most to least money spent in the Mog Station on average per player, it'd probably go something like Lalafell > Miqo'te > Au Ra > Hyur > Viera > Elezen > Roe > Hrothgar.

Follow the money, I guess... Would be a good explanation as to why those top 2 races get all the attention.

it's crazy because while you're correct, miqo also get the short end of the stick like hroth and viera. viera and hroth don't get hats at all, but when miqo get hats they get their ears lopped off lol. SE just feels insanely lazy these days.

Just assumptions, but if I had to give you reasons:

Lalafells: By-and-large the game's most passionate players. Most content creators I see online play Lalafell, and are also the most likely to be weird Limsa AFKers or high level content runners. Perfect storm for opening one's wallet.
Miqo'te: Roleplayers and glamourers, and probably most importantly, Fantasia addicts.
Au Ra: Miqo'te but less pronounced, also lower because it generally only really applies to the female Au Ra.
Hyur: A mix of the 3 above, for those who like the fact that most gear in this game is made with Hyur in mind.
Viera: A self-fulfilling prophecy, Viera likely don't engage much with the Mog Station due to their restrictions--if they do, it's either to Fantasia in or out of this race or to buy emotes.
Elezen: Nobody plays Elezen. Those who do only engage with the Mog Station to Fantasia in or out of this race.
Roe: Nobody plays Roe. Those who do tend to be several steps more casual than anyone else.
Hrothgar: Before the addition of fHroth, they would be in the same camp as Roe. Now, they are stuck in the same camp as Viera.
