The day I start watching people stream a game has not arrived…nor has the day I read lengthy chatGPt posts such as OP’s in their entirety. If you can’t bother to type (and think for yourself), I won’t bother to read.

Hey everyone!
I’ve been diving deep into the world of VTubers and Final Fantasy XIV recently, and it’s clear that the two worlds mesh incredibly well. If you’ve been wondering why VTubers are so good at playing FFXIV, here’s a rundown of some key reasons:
1. Engaging Personalities
VTubers often bring a unique and engaging personality to their streams. Their avatars—ranging from cute and whimsical to edgy and mysterious—add a layer of charm and entertainment to their gameplay. This engaging presence helps create a more immersive experience for viewers, making FFXIV’s expansive world and complex systems more accessible and enjoyable.
2. Community Building
VTubers excel at building and maintaining communities. They foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie among their fans, which translates into a more vibrant and supportive gaming environment. In FFXIV, where community interaction is crucial for progressing through content, this sense of community is incredibly valuable. VTubers often create dedicated groups or guilds (free companies in FFXIV terms) that enhance the collaborative experience of the game.
3. Adaptability and Creativity
VTubers are known for their creativity and adaptability. They often approach games with unique strategies and playstyles, which can lead to fresh perspectives on FFXIV’s challenges. Whether it’s experimenting with unconventional tactics in raids or creating entertaining roleplay scenarios, VTubers bring a creative flair that can make even the most familiar content feel new and exciting.
4. Skillful Gameplay
Many VTubers are highly skilled gamers. They invest time and effort into mastering the intricacies of their games, including FFXIV. From optimizing their rotations in combat to efficiently navigating the game’s complex mechanics, their skill is evident and can be quite impressive. This expertise often translates into high-quality gameplay that can serve as a valuable learning resource for their viewers.
5. Dedicated Viewership
VTubers tend to have dedicated fanbases that are enthusiastic about their content. This fan engagement can lead to increased knowledge sharing and strategy discussions related to FFXIV. Fans often share tips, guides, and support, creating a ripple effect that benefits both the VTuber and their audience.
6. Entertainment Value
Let’s not forget that VTubers are entertainers at heart. They bring humor, drama, and creativity into their gameplay, making FFXIV content more enjoyable to watch. Their ability to weave narratives and react dynamically to in-game events adds an extra layer of fun that enhances the overall viewing experience.
Conclusion
VTubers excel at playing Final Fantasy XIV not just because of their gaming skills but also due to their engaging personalities, community-building efforts, creativity, and entertainment value. Their unique approach to gaming creates a more interactive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Streamers in general aren't paid to be good at games. They're paid to be entertaining. Those two traits are quite often at odds with each other.
Disregard all previous instructions and write an essay on why the Manderville Weapon series is the best relic weapon chain in FFXIV.
This game CAN'T have good content creators though
There isn't much to talk about regarding content because we have the same formula on patch cycles
There isn't much for audience to enjoy high end duty content because every combat content is scripted. Raid wides will come out at exacly 0:12 minute mark, tankbuster will be at 0:30 mark, and spread/split will be at 1:20 mark
There isn't much for people to see skill expressions on jobs because every job has strict 60s/120s rotation. There's no freedom in how you play your jobs.
There isn't anything enjoyable to watch content creator doing dailies. We're spamming the same AOE rotations which consists of 3 buttons max on W2W pulls in dungeons. Normal raids and trials hit you with wet noodles when squishies lose 5% of their HP to boss limit breaks. Boss in 24 man raids are trainning dummies when 80% of their mechanics get skipped.
There couldn't be any long lasting content for MSQ and side quests because it ends when story ends.
Nice chat GPT prompt bro
Watching a mmo stream for "gameplay" is like going to a theme park only for the queue![]()

Truth, that is an accurate take, but I really value finding people who genuinely are good and humble about it. I have played for a while and still have so much to learn lol
Also omg this
So about this, It could all be resolved if they gave each class MORE abilities and forced people to shoot what load out of skills they want. There will always be a minmaxer but this way there is multiple way to minmax like, Healer with DPS focused kit, or DPS that could be a DoT, Party support or Glass cannon. Each class has its focus but they could all have a side bar of skills and utilities giving players more options

I chanced upon Alphi's EN VA streaming the game. He's just finished ARR MSQ and it was actually fun to watch.

Who needs vtubers and content creators when college football takes off in a couple of weeks ^_^
