Yeah I was also wondering that, because I see many disgruntled players providing feedback directly to the developers. Yet somehow, for some reason, people like you make extremely rude and unnecessary comments on all of those threads. Why do you feel the need to chime in to something that doesn't have anything to do with you, just to be a rude example of how to not behave on the forums? This is not a chat room or a debate on American television. This is a thread to the devs, from a customer.
Since so many people seem to think that one must provide evidence for anything they say, despite it being common knowledge or simply (un)common sense. Allow me to provide examples.
"There isn't only one "quitting" thread on these forums. People give all kinds of reasons."
you're literally telling players they have no right to use the forums to provide feedback to the developers, which is the only source these devs use for feedback. They don't follow reddit. So how would you communicate your feedback to the developers if you aren't going to use the systems they have in place for it? Which one of the places they pay zero mind to would you post in, smarty pants?
but wait, there's more.
Multiple threads have players providing feedback to the developers, which you are not, yet you feel the need to respond in a manner similar to this. as if you were being spoken to in the first place, or as if you're a developer on a troll account.
I could go on, but I am starting to feel as if I'm bullying someone. So I will stop and I hope that you govern yourself in accordance with decent human civility moving forward, while keeping in mind the guidelines of this forum.See, unsubbing over a change to the one job you find fun in a game is one thing. You're not forced to play this, it's not your RL job. Sometimes a break is healthy.
Making a pompous public service announcement, though, is akin to a toddler throwing themselves to the ground in a mall, kicking and screaming, because mom won't buy them the thing they want.

SE is responsible for injecting politics by basing an entire expansion around a character voiced by someone with severe mental illness, according to the DSM. SE even modified the Wuk Lamat character model to not use a female Hrothgar/Xbr'aal model, just like it did for Zero in the previous expansion. Wuk even uses a male weapon pose.

Yeaaaaaah.... About that.... i'm European so....We have a bit more than only 2 party in my country.... and we don't have a black and white tunnel vision on politics.
It doesn't matter why some random guy quits. The fact they need to make it a public announcement is pathetic.
Now in THIS case here, we're just having US-political ramblings that shouldn't be on this forum in the first place. But even those "waah they took my DOT away" and similar sob threads could be just proper criticism.
You want to give feedback because you want to improve things. But if you want your feedback to be heard, you phrase it appropriately.
If no one would care if you tell people that you are straight then why do you care when people say they're gay? Surely you would also just not care that they said it, right? Thanks for voicing your opinion OP, though you'll mostly get negative backlash here. You're only allowed to have an opinion that doesn't "offend" them. They're allowed to shove it in your face though, whether you like it or not. Check people's search comments and Adventure plates. You'll see that a lot of folks JUST HAVE TO LET YOU KNOW they are gay, lesbian, trans, ect. They just NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW, so you can treat them special like they DEMAND. I wonder how people would react if I made sure everyone knew I was Heterosexual. Just made sure they knew it right off the rip. Oh wait, that's right. "Why would you say that? Who cares?"
It's not gonna get less woke, and if they don't can Hiroi, it's not gonna get better than AO3 tier storytelling either, because all language versions are upset. So if that prospective future isn't up to anyone's taste, hey, I gotta respect anyone that sticks to their guns and leaves. Especially USians. Company and product boycotts only last so long there when the product is one of convenience—at least, they don't last long when you don't have plenty of alternatives. One beer is easily replaced with another, and lucky for OP, one game is just as easily replaced. WoW is probably not in the cards, but I bet ESO will give you what you want. Conan Exiles, maybe, but I'm not sure if it's any good or not. I quit WoW because Shadowlands blew, and the company full chocked with outed sex pests and I haven't gone back, no matter how much "better" some of my friends say it is. May tou find your new home, OP, wherever it is.
Let's pretend your opinion on this matters to the corporate suits who control things. It doesn't matter why some random guy quits. The fact they need to make it a public announcement is pathetic.

you think that your opinion on other peoples opinions is going to change how the devs perceive and utilize feedback? you've just cancelled yourself.
