Wuk though is very Japanese, a fact a western person like you, wont be able to grasp, as stuck in some kind of mainstream thing.Statement:
We have deduced that Wuk Lamat is a huge problem in the FFXIV story, causing the game to go against the wisdom used to rebuild it. The narrative and gameplay quality of the Dawntrail MSQ has shifted towards the direction that insults the player’s ability and comprehension. Thus, it is that we wish for the character of Wuk Lamat to no longer appear in the future.

This game is a Japanese game first of all, and most of all that is the target audience, it is not like them Marvel Heroes or whatever.
I think you missed the fact that most people won't even played FF14 if they hate JRPG?
If anything, Wuk Lamat has more similarity with the hot garbage Mary Sue coming from Disney in recent years than the traditional FF14 character we've been getting in the last decades.
Here is some facts alot of people play FFXIV and not liking the typical jRPG thing you speak of and like other sides of the game instead.I think you missed the fact that most people won't even played FF14 if they hate JRPG?

FFXIV is a huge game as it is, so that is pointless as well to throw out, if you play ONLY for the MSQ, then find another game, you would be better satisfied with a singleplayer game if the case.
The MSQ is the main attraction of the game. It was always sold as "an RPG first and an MMO second".Here is some facts alot of people play FFXIV and not liking the typical jRPG thing you speak of and like other sides of the game instead.

The MSQ in mandatory if you don't want to pay, and enormous prerequisite to attain endgame. The raid can even be see as part of the MSQ with all the story inside.
That's why now 90% of the game can be done solo.
You are just basically saying to a vast part of the playerbase "go play somthing else". Good for you, but I'm not sure FFXIV will survive a long time (or will still have the budget it has) with only what remain after this purge.
MMORPG is mostly what is next to it, MSQ is minor in comparison, else you would just stay subscribed when there is an expansion and at every major patch. The MSQ is the main attraction of the game. It was always sold as "an RPG first and an MMO second".

Well... it's the case you know ? Even Yoshi-P is conscious of that and talked about it multiple times. FFXIV doesn't have the stability of most MMORPG because of that, because it's not retaining the player with constant grinding.
You remove the MSQ and FFXIV crumble on itself, you remove anything else, or even multiples "anything" the game will still be ok.
You are delusional on how the MSQ is the spine of the game, and a divisive MSQ is an massive problem for Yoshi-P and his team.
The heck any of that have anything to do with what I said even? What's the point of quoting someone if you just throw out random lines? Here is some facts alot of people play FFXIV and not liking the typical jRPG thing you speak of and like other sides of the game instead.

Also FYI, I probably play 80%-90% of what FF14 has to offer (the 10%-20% are probably criterion and fishing related gameplay), doesn't mean I can't point out the 15%-25% that sucks. What constitute that piece varies from time to time, and for DT it's the MSQ.
Just like I probably played 2/3 of JRPG released on the market, and I will also point out some of them sucks.
If I order a meal with 5 dishes, it's normal to praise the good and criticize the bad. I'm not gonna throw out the entire tray because the fries isn't cook right, just like I won't just accept that with no criticism.
Try to learn how to think on a spectrum instead of only the extremes, it's an important life skill that's worth cultivating.

It is rubbles, if you truely play FFXIV, then it is most of all not for the MSQ, the MSQ through all expansions has and still got huge quirks.... the expansions is most of all the next 10 levels and better gear due to higher ilevel. The heck any of that have anything to do with what I said even? What is your point?
Again, if I order a full meal at a fast food joint, I probably didn't do it just for the "fries". Doesn't mean I can't point out the fries suck if that's the case. Even if I ordered the meal mainly for the burger, does that strip me of the right to complain about the fries because the burger is good? After all, I'm pretty sure the fries is part of the price I paid for.
I am just saying how it is, if you play an MMO and it gets an expansion then most of the buy is to be able to access content in that expansion and the story just being a side bonus, most content creation comes with interacting with other players in an MMORPG, being silly about everything else is just like any other hate speech...What is your point?

Like buuhuuu I don't like Eureka... but others do... or buuuhuuu I don't like 24 man raids... but others do and so on and so forth... stop being so shallow.
