well since i have a dev perspective i can tell you the following. every serious Company have a test eviroment where they can play with things and test it. so if you test there new code or even change of code it is not that big of a deal once it work there it will mostly work on live. so instead of using this excuse they could actually try to change it. i dont even want much just some qol which are standards since 2012.
