I wish they would copy of the PVP combo system where it flips from one ability to the next since there AOE rotation is the same buttons reducing to 1 button on the bar would be great using the PVP combo system.

That would be a option and is, how caster are doing there thing (and Viper).
But personaly, wouldnt i want this that much.
It can become boring to press allways the same 1-2 Buttons for most of the time. And is the reason, why i want a 1-2-3 combo system for the blm (fire1 send a bolt of fire to the target and spread after the hit, fire 3 take this flames, increasw the power and let them raise into the sky, where fire 4 collect the flame to a big ball again and send it to the ground and despair take the rest energy to create a last flame pillar again, that not even bones are left^^).
But its true, that the combo or the drg is to long. And, that they maybe could fuse the last 3 skills together to one button.

I'm not against providing options like the stacking buttons we can enable as needed. I think they work well for the oGCDs. For people who like hitting 1-1-1-1-1 vs 1-2-3 I guess they could let you toggle it but I don't think they should build the job around that.
For myself I think I'd find keeping track of weaves between the GCDs bit more difficult with combo buttons as I tend to mash things a bit in raid when I'm trying to catch things before snapshots. Probably something I could get used to if I had to but I will say I tried Viper and the combo buttons make the rotation feel less clear to me. Buttons light up and I hit them but when you get options to split the final attacks it's a bit like.. which way should I go when? Which one did I hit before or which one am I on now? They're in the same place. I'm not seeing the pattern or why to it and the tooltips are not super helpful to me which being wordy and follwing similarly named buffs... With the combo buttons all my attacks feel even more like visual mush.
If people want a combo button Job Viper exists now. I think it's ok that we have jobs that function differently from each other and don't need everyone to like every job the same amount. I dislike playing casters for a variety of reasons but I don't want to take those away from people who enjoy them just because I still play them casually. People have mains for a reason.


Yeah but that's the cool thing, for the autocombos we have (in PvE), we can always manually un-combo them if we prefer that. Best of both worlds, everyone can pick what they're more comfortable with.
