World transfer if you want to be there so badly otherwise enjoy waiting in the travel system.Sorry, but as someone who plays the game, subs to the game, I and everyone else have every right to be in any server or DC. SE being unable to accommodate that is not our problem. They consistently half bake and take the easy way out with systems in this game. And now it's biting them in the ass, do not defend them.
This change did not need to happen. The DC travel system was working just fine there is not that much congestion, them trying to revive their new dead DC does not justify fucking everyone over collectively.
I hope you're being deliberately obtuse. If not, you desperately need to take a step back lmao, limiting the ways in which people play with each other is bad actually and I am so sorry that you had to find out this way. But it's the truth.
Also, I'm not paying 20 goddamn dollars to world transfer to a congested DC when I have a house, a decade old FC with fitted submarines. Thank you for your terrible suggestion however.
Don't like people going to aether? Get over it, this isn't pre-endwalker anymore. It is not our fucking fault that they didn't have the foresight to provide us with cross DC pf and instead invested resources into a DC that's never going to get off the ground no matter how much they try and funnel people in that direction. We ALL hate having to go to aether to raid. But I'd rather that than not being able to DC travel again.

And SE didnt turn aether into the raid dc. The community did and like a typical mmo community it cant fix its own player created problems.I agree they should have put in a dc pf but aether issues are player created and players should be blamed.I hope you're being deliberately obtuse. Yeah, who fucking cares if they did? I already said this but I'll clarify further. Aether wasn't always the raider server, this is true. It was the raid server by virtue of being the most populated NA DC by and large. The reason it's the raid DC now is for no other reason than convenience. Everyone congregates to one place, everyone raids in this one place. You get the maximum amount of options for the price of your server not having as bountiful a PF, and all the restrictions applied to DC travel.
The simple answer to this, is cross DC pf, work on that should have began IMMEDIATELY. What did they do instead? They create a brand new DC and expect everyone to either make characters over there or transfer over, after a decade of history and development between the 3 others. And now, they're trying to artificially congest them, which fucking backfired, and now people who DC travel to the wrong place at the wrong time end up in limbo for HOURS.
In conclusion, you need to stop defending square come the fuck on. It is not the fault of the community that square enix cannot adapt to the way we play their fucking game.
Only thing I defending them on is people crying that they cant visit other worlds. If your character was not created on a said world, then except measures to happen that will prioritze the logging of players who reside there while making you wait or out right deny your entry. I also check server status half the NA servers are listed as congested.Yeah, who fucking cares if they did? I already said this but I'll clarify further. It's a disgrace, there's no other way to put it. They said they would have this whole situation sorted by 7.05 "at the latest".
So why are they still treating servers as if we're in launch? Launch is over and some people need to move their characters around. If it's such a problem, maybe they shouldn't have created DC Travel at all.
When asked about the problems of the Aether DC travel problem, Yoship just asked back if some ideas sounded like good solutions, without any hint there was anything in the works. Fixing DC travel doesn't seem to be a priority at all there.

DC was put in so people could visit other players and act as way to escape congestion. But the community is like flies and congestion is a fresh steaming pile of dung. I remember the Balmung lock down, took like 6 months for the population to lower down enough before SE felt safe to lift the lock. Then there was data center split, people turn from flies to locust and quickly migrated back to aether from crystal. It's a disgrace, there's no other way to put it. Once again, it is not the communities fault that all we get are bandaid fixes. This shit that we have now, is nothing like a priority que. This is an extremely ineffective means to combat congestion, people are going to flock to aether anyways, it's just that much more annoying now. Congestion is not now nearly bad enough to justify stupid shit like this, the login que has a purpose and it does that well enough.Only thing I defending them on is people crying that they cant visit other worlds. jo i dont know what hurt you but please try to listen. People are grown ups in this game, most are working people and paying customers of this game. Obviously everyone wants to use the product they pay for and yes like it or not this travel system is part of this product. Second thing is why are you just answering to people who wants to travel to see their friends not to people who cant go home? Anyway defending the company and load everthing on the community is really ( lets take it forum freindly not that smart ) SE is a big Company they should be able to fix THEIR problems. When the community starts fixing the game its not a good sign you know ?
