That is what I thought at first too but then I reread it and I think that was just a little back story about the NPC crafters of Ul'dahn and how they were having trouble making a profit with all the GC gobbling up their wares and buyers. So they set out to make reallllly HQ weapons and then sold it to the GC's.

Those weapons we saw are more then likely going to be bought with seals and some new recipes will be released a he same time, but they have nothing to do with each other me thinks.

Or the ore and hides is only available through GC since they mentioned recipes?

* New weapon recipes planned for patch 1.22 are for gladiator, pugilist, marauder, and lancer classes only. Weapons for other classes are planned for release sometime after patch 1.22a.

The only one I like is the THM staff. The others are way too cartoonish..

Do they need to make every weapon transforming?

Making materials available through GC would also makes all weapons available to everyone and not only to certain GC since some people worries it might not be available for them.

Am I the only one who strongly dislikes this new shiney clean cartooney aesthetic? XIV was realistic as hell, I'm not sure why are they turning this into wow.

PUGs blocks.......... they grow, they glow, and they don't flow. That is probably the most ugliest thing I've ever seen.

going by the german version and the actual notes, the title might be a bit misleading, as it just announces new materials and those resulting in new crafts (if you are highly skilled).
something else to note: the cnj has a recolored seer's cowl or is actually wearing both a cowl and a mask. same for the thm as she is wearing a cowl and glasses at once!

but... only gladiator, pugilist, marauder, and lancer received their weapons @ 1.22. ;D
