Can we please have a definitive answer regarding Hats for both Viera and Hrothgar

It's funny how they act like it's a quality control issue when Au Ra horns clip through a bunch of head gear in a way that's ugly and makes no sense (I have an au ra alt and finding good headpieces for her can be a challenge) and yet they won't let Viera, Hrothgar, or now even Miqo'te ears clip through the hats when that looks better than hiding them anyway. No rhyme or reason to any of it.

You are so right on that, my god xD Like they want to be perfect with everything yet AuRa Horns look extremely ugly on 70% of all headgear!

It's even bleeding over into Miqo'te. So many hats since in the last few years just hide the ears entirely and it really bothers me. There's a mod out there called "Free The Cat Ears" on a certain website that fixes this for over 100 items and lets the ears show on hats where it makes sense to have them poke out, similar to the Viera Hats mod that just lets the ears clip through the hat.

It boggles my mind that a single person can accomplish for free in about a week what a company that is paid for cannot. Worse yet is the fact that I would not care if they just did the work going forward...but they do not; I am not expecting old gear to work; but there is no good excuse why all new gear does not account for player choice.

One other thing I've gotten really annoyed about is Wuk Lamat's tail holder, but us the players just have the tail outright removed or clipping through clothing awkwardly now. Like it can be the same 1 or 2 tail holders each time, but come on give us something. Miqo'te being the most popular race no longer means anything I guess

Yes!!! Claws on her hands and feet too. I sent a suggestion in when viera were first released that, F Viera should have a version of their racial gloves with claws since they are going for the Fran look, but nothing after all this time.

About 2 years ago, I made a post entirely dedicated to this, noting that with each passing day, fewer hats accommodated the Miqo'te ears. I stopped playing and only came back to do comic RP with some friends, and I see that the situation has only gotten worse. Every new year, there's an excuse, both from the company and from players who think it's wrong to criticize poor service. It started with "COVID," moved to "the expansion took a lot of time because it was the end of an arc," reached "the graphic overhaul overwhelmed us," and now I'm waiting for the next excuse to mark off on my bingo card.

I suspect they do this because there is no way to hide the Au'ra horns without leaving a hole in their face and causing more work for them; otherwise, they would start removing the horns just like they're doing with the ears and tails. Although many people find the horns clipping through helmets strange, I prefer that to having the only thing that separates an Au'ra from a Hyur removed. I even feel envious of them because the horns have never been removed, whereas my ears, which are the ONLY thing that separates me from a Hyur, have already been shown to be removable.

Adding my support.

There are hairstyles and hats I purchased on the Mogstation before this race was released that I still cannot use.
There was no warning on those items when I purchased them that they would in fact not be useable at the time of purchase.
It wasn't until well after the races released that that text was added.

It's just gross incompetence on their part.
