What in the world people wanted them to do with Krile? Since her introduction she was a barely functional FFV fanservice and nothing more. Now that she's not a white mage anymoreshe doesn't have even that. They did all they could with her.

It seems like a very baffling idea to say "We are going to diversify jobs in a future patch" and then spend the time up until that patch homogenizing everything further. It both leads to them having to do more work and does not inspire any confidence. For the first part, in the interview with Yoshi-P that you linked, he literally says they're looking to diversify jobs a bit more in "Patch 7.2 and beyond." We're in Patch 7.05 as of this morning. I don't see the "lie" yet...
For the second part, Krile definitely played an active role in the MSQ. She was part of the team the entire journey and was one of the two main "side-stories" alongside Erenville. It may not have been to the level you either wanted or had come to expect in your head, but it doesn't change that she was an active part of the story.

They didn't do all they could do with her they could have done a lot more with her instead of her always taking a back seat to the other scions and even taking a back seat to wuk lamat but they decided to continue to not do much with her and not expand much on her character. All we got in dawntrail was finally some origins for her but all the shining moments she was suppose to get end up getting interrupted by lead kitty girl wuk lamat.
That is when the true Vana'diel of legend will be reborn.

The dude was always a hack. They always overpromise and always underdeliver.
Thats what happens when the main director of Squares biggest cashcow right now rather makes another game then care about his "Maingame" FF14. And people really thought Yoshi P working on another game wouldnt influx anything of ff14. Yeah...Lets just be hopeful things will get fixed soon...else their cashcow runs dry and so will Square.

Again, Yoshi-P did not say this. The article is a mistranslation. This was clarified in the live letter.
No, everything else made it clear to me as well. I was keeping to the patch content to account for if you didn't look at that.
Anything Yoshi-P says can't be taken in a specific way because it's translated, unless there's no other way to interpret it. In this case, clearly there was another way to interpret it, such as meaning that Krile's role would be more in the later part.YoshiP saying she was going to have an active role.
It was part of the contest regardless, but not necessarily as something we have to fight. We were going to reinforce the structures that were keeping it there.Funny thing about the Valigarmanda also was that we only had to fight it because Bakool Ja Ja did a thing, but there was no way she would assume before that it would take a part on the contest.

He's already set to helm another game that's in early development. The man wants out.Thats what happens when the main director of Squares biggest cashcow right now rather makes another game then care about his "Maingame" FF14.
