    What am I supposed to do with my battery and Wildfire in AoE situations?

    Everything is in the title because at that point, I'm tired of asking the devs about it.

    Oh and, flamethrower. I'm not gonna stop asking until we get answers, even if negative answers.

    flamethrower is such a weird ability that has been leaving people scratching their heads since it was added, i dont know if they just dont want to touch it for fear of making it too powerful, but honestly at this point they need to do SOMETHING. nobody uses flamethrower in any rotation that i know of.

    People didn't scratch their heads on FT when it was added in SB as it was part of the actual rotation of the job, both in ST and AoE. Clunky or not, it was... Now though...

    And too powerful, that's a joke right? Comparatively to the nukes SMN and PCT can field in dungeons?

    Considering the dot proc every second instead of every 3 seconds like regular dots, it could become overtuned and end up being awkwardly required in single target situations. But they'd have to really mess it up.
    The main issue with it is how trash it is to use. Being stuck in place with a cone attack in a situation where half a dozen mobs are spamming aoe circles is just impractical.

    Having it be a turret that does its thing automatically would actually not be the worst idea.
