    The thing is, SE dialled down on the boss HP in Aglaia compared to the HP sponges that were SB and SHB raids. And I think it's a good think, because the latter two expansions' Alliance raids still take a bit too long. Maybe the solution would be to shuffle the mechanics in Aglaia a bit (after all, they managed to get Gaius still go through the add phase, DPS or no).

    People are so used to crystal tower they think that’s the “normal” speed

    40 minutes is about the length and alliance raid should be, just because we outscale CT to hells and back doesn’t mean they should lean into an expectation of 20 minute alliance raids

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    Whatever the case may be, SE dialed back on boss HP in Aglaia. We'll see how it goes in DT. But at any rate, there is little to no reason to keep HP inflated once the raids are old content (i.e. belonging to an older expansion), IMHO.

    I think I actually saw them once during Shadowbringers or Endwalker in an exceptionally bad run. An absolute rarity though.

    I rarely run Alliance raids as is. But forcing things to take longer is the worst thing to do imo unless they actually update the fights which they won't be doing anytime soon. I don't want to be bored through a whole 40 min alliance raid because content of the raid itself isnt engaging.

    This is a bad idea as there is an option to go min i level. Also if they worry about normal mode mechanics and 24 man mechanics to learn and get better at the game they are doing it wrong.
