[Feedback] Wuk Lamat's English Voice

I've already kind of spoiled DT's story for myself by lurking on here too often (and looking up cutscenes on YouTube), but meh. I feel like I'm not missing much of the MSQ this time around, just based off of what I've seen (storywise; I'm certain the dungeons and gameplay are worth experiencing).

But, I digress. Back to the topic at hand. Like others have said, Sena's range for female characters, from what I've seen and what she herself has admitted, is limited. I could see her doing well in a minor female character role, but I personally don't think she's ready for major, high-demanding roles like Wuk Lamat just yet.

Also, here's a snippet of the German VA's performance during a scene that requires strong emotion from Wuk: (7.0 spoilers)

Just thought I'd share it, since the VA's delivery gave me goosebumps.

I also played the story with the german dub and while, of course, the writing remains unchanged and bad, from the begining I've always praised the german VAs this time around. Especially this delivery is really amazing work. The german dub still has a very bad reputation among the german playerbase, probably because it really wasn't that great in the past. I think, that the quality of the german dub has improved over time. And maybe some more german players will give it a chance, especially after the disaster with Wuks english VA. :')

I actually like them trying out American VAs for this expansion, it's just too bad the person they chose for the main character of the expansion isn't very good at voice acting. The forced accent she attempts all the time isn't very good. I would've preferred someone who actually has the accent or just not have it at all. Someone who can atleast scream and sound like they're under duress when under stressful situations.

Just wanted to add my voice to this as well. I've had to swap to Japanese VA to finish this expansion. Which was a hard choice because the main cast is so great. That being said no matter how hard I tried every time Wuk's voice made me lose interest in continuing the story. First time I have skipped main scenario quests. Please either fix the character or keep her to this expansion. If she is a main for the next 10-year story....

i don't ascribe to that ideology so i will not participate in it. nothing wrong with that. my post is about his voicework and not about him as an individual, even though what i have seen shows him to be hypocritical and racist. i want better quality for a game i love and think its important for people to discuss how poor of a job that this is so that something like this never happens again. after all, i give them my money every single month. for the past ten years.

I really like Wuk Lamat english voice, and the first half of DT I thought she was doing a pretty good job.
She may lack a bit of training for the parts where things are a bit more intense, it sounds a bit off, and there is a lot of that during the second half of DT.
