Yeah that's the thing. Naruto failed and learned. He grew into his character.
The only time I noticed Wuk Lamat sortof failing was when her father got killed by Zoraal Ja. Not that she actively tried to do anything, per se, but, you know... if I really think about it, it would be the only time it happened.
And no, I won't mention the kidnapping, that's just "please senpai save me because I'm so important to the plot so I had to get captured for you to come and get me".
one small nitpick that i remember for no apparent reason is when we reach shalloni something (that western town)
the scene where this npc got her bracelet stolen, it was given by wuk lamat and she kinda important to her or something, anyway when we about to go get back the bracelet, erenville state it that we must do it carefully because this is wuk lamat bracelet or something
i was like "huh? why?" prior to this, if we want to get something back be it from normal npc or major status npc, we didnt give a shit at all, we just go there an beat them up and take what was stolen. why this one need to be extra careful because it was given by wuk lamat? erenvile even say that we shouldnt kill the bandits because this will look bad for wuk lamat...
or something like that, i was so flabbergasted after that scene i just quit and call it day and cant stop shaking my head. what is going on with the writer? why make this one npc who we met for like... what? 2? 3 weeks in game lore? and suddenly everyone including us want to protect and adore her like some kind of very fragile saint or something, what are they thinking?

the whole scene just doesnt make any sense after that too, we make a bait and it worked, ok that is good plan, but when we were so close to get it back, the thief run away because he saw us and.... we just call it the plan fail? the guy was like 20 meters from us, just chase him or shoot him, use magic or whatever. yes there is another npc need help, then let erenvile handle it and we chase him down
the pacing, the structure, its all so weird, its like the writer regress back to ARR pacing lol

Yeah, Wuk never really got a proper punch in the face for her lofty ideals like Alphinaud or Lyse did. Only resistance she faced was Bakool at the start, fathers death and then Sphene the genocidal robot.Yeah that's the thing. Naruto failed and learned. He grew into his character.

she need to experience alphinaud episode where he create his own company only to crumble amazingly.
After finishing it,
Duties and mechanics? Really liked them, havent done the extremes yet but they seen fine as well
MSQ story? meh
It was funny the first time they say 'oh you all weak this / no one ever resisted my attack that / that bird is crazy strong' but then it started to drag, all the time we're like in the corner 'they dont know that we kill gods for fun, travel dimensions and worlds and just killed depression while riding a giant dragon and then battled said dragon in human form at the edge of the universe last week, besides that scuffle in the past and the underworld'.
If we would be a 'mentor' to Wuk, there should be some conflict between us, some harsh truths, some actual training. We could have a Mulan training/singing montage, instead we have power of friendship and 'oh you can do it / wuk's awesome / can do no wrong'. And Gulool Ja Ja's death, come on, the moment Zoraal Ja got back on his feet everyone should've jumped him, there was no honor duel there anymore, Gulool had already soloed him fair and square with one head, cant believe that after so many 'for those we have lost for those we can still save' we just watched and let that happen. Fray watching that like 'yo wtf, we letting that slip?'.
And the thing I was most waiting for a chance to spar with Tancred/Urianger never happened, even though they stated themselves (Urianger I think) that they would like to test their might against us.
Really hope that it get better in next patches/post stories, like the Arcadion raid.
