There will be reqards for those who purchased the game early and purchased the limited editions.

Certain things will not carry over into the 2.0 version re-release, nor will the Goobue Mount and some other items. If you have it now, you will have it then. New players and the Ps3 version won't.

There will be a Title given when a world event happens that will "Be the end of the old Erozea in a climatic event" before it's rebirth.

The current engine is hard enough on superior PC hardware. The new engine is designed for mMo's in mind, and will be able to take the memory design of the Ps3, it's limitations, and scale on a fly.

They have already made headway since the orginal launch, even with a new engine that will be replacing the current. Let's cross our fingers for a brighter future once that comet destroys the old .

Old players will know of the changes, most do and are waiting on the 2.0 launch. Then you have the PS3 base. Even if that version won't be as graphically detailed, it will brign in new base. Many started on the PS3 in XI and migrated to the PC later.

E3 is another base, and G4TV is another. They have already covered the upcomign changes for FFXIV on the network, and loo kforward to the new changes.

Guild Wars 2 launch is getting near. Yet if you have been part of the closed beta, you know it has it's issues. Many feel it still isn't ready. THe story is lacking, and they need to put more into that core aspect. Sure it has cutscnes at times, mainly at the start, and at some regional missions, but it is sorta dual due to the fact it is FMV and not hardware based. Like FFXIV, if rushed, and people go off hyoed FMV that doesn't reflect normal game play, they could be set up for disappointment.

Slap together a slightly negative or worse artical or column. wring hands as money is generated for you by the people you piss off. That's why i never go there any more.

Hmmm no you can do every storyline on every character. There's only VARIATIONS that you can't do based on Grand Company choice and those VARIATIONS aren't such a huge change that you'd need a 2nd or 3rd character to get. The main storyline is accessible to everyone. The beauty of an MMO is there's many storylines that you get to enjoy one based around your choice.

At least, that's how good MMOs used to be.

Actually, the first part of the main storyline varies pretty widely from city to city until they all come together. I have 3 characters and the other two haven't got to the Fade to White quest yet; their quests so far are very different though. I wish we could experience the quest lines of all 3 cities on one character but as it is now we're missing out on some interesting quests no matter which city we choose.

I got the impression that not all dedicated players would get it, rather all would be eligible to be given the Legacy title. Could this be a random draw, 100 people from each server get it? cause I really don't think they're gonna give it out to 50 000 people. I dunno I just don't wanna feel let down when several buddies say they are legacy members and I'm not, I want to expect that's the case. But I do hope I get it

As long as you get 90 days of Paid service and Participate in the 2.0 Beta, You will get the Legacy price..

Also 500-600k potential players> 50k people that's 450-500k people Paying either the same thing Legacy gets but it costs 15 bucks, or pay for only one Character for 12.99. ( I'm sure most people will get the 8 Character Package 7 extra charas for only 2 bucks more? yeah I would take that if I wasn't a Legacy Member :P.
