The Next Housing District

Sharlayan is the most logical choice. Crystarium is the one I'd prefer in terms of design, but in terms of lore it's pretty unjustifiable.

Its only unjustifiable until Shtola figures out how to create a stable portal to her ManCat BF. After that its just a matter of time for Crystarium.

To be honest though, I'd much rather they create Garlean Restoration and give us a Ward outside of one of our main cities. It would open up alot of choices, Like Radz-at-Han.

I am so tired of not having a house, Ive made alt characters and even made my own FC in an attempt to put multiple bids in and for the time this bid system has been in place I have never owned a home and am tired of saving my gil for something that won't happen.

It was mentioned in passing as a "we're considering" during an interview around the start of Stormblood (had been in response to Shiro selling out so quickly and players wanting more housing options if I remember correctly).

If the Housing Mirage comments from last year were translated correctly, then SE has come up with a system for players to set the interior size of their houses. There is additional speculation that it could be extended to apartments as well as houses.

But I want to stress that there has been concern that the translation was incorrect. We may be hoping for something that isn't happening. The x.1 patches seem to be when they prefer to release the major housing updates so with luck we won't have to wait too much longer to find out.

I personally believe they gave quite a few hints in EW that the next housing district will be on the moon.

That would be great if they'd add new housing districts to the game. It would help out a lot. I've been trying to get a large plot on my server for my FC but no luck. The other day there was one plot on Shirogane available and we were 91 bidders. They should also change the availability to both FC and Privatte, and also let only one person per FC to be able to bid for a plot.
Anyways, as of now we have:

From Stormblood there is 1 district

From Endwalker there are 0 districts
* Old Sharlayan possible

* Radz at han possible

From Dawntrail there are 0 districts
* Tuliyollal possible

* Solution 9 possible

I think it would help out a lot with the housing problem if each expantion would have a housing district. Don't think it will ever happen though. ;.;

I hope not, I don't want another fauna less, grey area and the moon doesn't even have a day cycle either. After grey lifeless Ishgard the next one is hopefully more in line with the Mist, Lavender Beds or Shirogane.

Agreed… if they go with the most obvious choice of Old Sharlayan, I really hope they strike a good balance between the natural beauty of the area versus the center of the city. I don’t want another all marble/stone city, especially when OS has such great trees, ponds, streams and rocky beaches!

I really want Thavnair because it would be a mix of LB and Mist and the colorful environment is so pleasing and cheerful even, not like Ishgard that feels depressing to live in, same as Old Sharlayan, snow areas just look depressing to me.

Solution 9 would be great for an all apartment type housing zone or even instanced with the apartments being able to have sizes range from small to mansion size. There could also be a large balcony that allows you to use it as a yard for outdoor decorations and have it overlooking the city below, Solution 9 in my opinion would be a perfect test bed for instanced housing.
