Selfish? It's because I'm thinking of the overall health of the game that I think DC travel should go the way of the dodo, which would include for Dynamis as well.
Except they wouldnt work that way, they'd keep DC travel open to Dynamis just like now if they did that since they are in such a pity move to "make alive" our dead DC, what they did here is a good example.
In any case, they can have at it, the second transfer opens, I am out of this DC, I wanted population on Dynamis yeah but not for it to become literally the trash can for all the other DC's and for it to become a light version of Aether while we are stuck here, having one quieter DC wasnt a bad thing.
The entire reason Dynamis is dead is because of DC travel. The census has consistently shown the DC has plenty of people to do content, they just don't stay on their DC. It's a self fulfilling prophecy.
Dynamis was always going to be bad because they literally brought out DC travel when they launched the DC so there was no ability for it to gain natural growth. If you make a DC when DC travel come out all those players just congregate to the DC with the most active PF or decide which it's, which was Aether, in NA. If Dynamis was created when DC travel didn't exist it would of grown normally.Except they wouldnt work that way, they'd keep DC travel open to Dynamis just like now if they did that since they are in such a pity move to "make alive" our dead DC, what they did here is a good example.

There are already cross-DC statics, so this feature cannot be reverted without doing damage to raiding community.
I absolutely agree on that, my frustration also comes from the fact this came AFTER DC travel was introduced, my point is that it's absolutely pointless, this is not going to create growth for Dynamis, people will go back to their pre-DT ways once things open back up, they are basically delaying the inevitable knowing what will happen once things are open again, basically they are splitting groups of friends for no reason at all because they know it's bound to fail, be it now or in 11 days, DC travel and transfers WILL come back, and people will go back to aether for content and congregate there, this changes nothing except to put a false image to new players that Dynamis has a booming population while its nothing but temporary, half of the population at this point on Dynamis is travelers meeting there because other dcs are locked. People will then have to transfer to other DC's and pay money, or DC travel there, this solves absolutely nothing, and if anything, will encourage players like me to move away from Dynamis (which I will do) in scare that they decide to make this same thing happen again, because I learned my lesson and I wont deal with it again, I'm seeing friends have fun on crystal and primal, while I am stuck on here with absolutely no friends at all since they are all on other DC's, I am not going to ask multiple people to come over to a dead DC because of this restriction.Dynamis was always going to be bad because they literally brought out DC travel when they launched the DC so there was no ability for it to gain natural growth. The reality is : Dynamis was bound to fail the second DC travel was introduced, and there is no going back on that, unless they would remove DC travel entirely, but sure, they can pretend for 11 more days that our dc is "booming", reality will hit when things open back up.
