Absurd shit. How on earth does it work as intended?? I really wonder who goes through these and marks them as such the same way I was wondering how the absolute hell someone marked this as working as intended aswell.

That one might be a phrasing issue? The top part is suppose to vanish, because otherwise it will clip. But the shadow should as well, which it doesn't.

Maybe repost that one with emphasis on the shadow not vanishing rather than the belt vanishing.

Yeah but according to whoever handles the bug reports the shadow is working as intended. ToT There were several submissions for this too.

They could've designed a reticulated tail armor or something. The ARR Evenstar caster chest actually provides a (albeit comical) 'rubber tail'.

Ironically, the Fuga Haori, a set where you'd actually want to have the miqo'te tail hidden (because it's quite concealed enough), it's not.

Forget the tail, though. Have you seen the level 96 crafted sets? They actually bothered to add an area for human ears, and didn't bother to change it for other races.

They threw the towel in back in Shadowbringers. It's so rare to find headgear with ear pockets, and ear holes seem to have disappeared entirely since ARR. It's so difficult to make glamour with new items since it's rare they modify them for each race. It's no wonder Hrothgar and Viera still cannot wear most hats.

Yeah baking occlusion into gear was a bad idea since the metadata is a list of checkboxes that enables/disables pieces of some gear. Same with tails. This fix requires no coding, just the equivalent of changing a true to a false.

I... haven't read all of the discussion here, but I'm personally okay with the tail being hidden as a hrothgar. But also slightly conflicted.
The set resembles the sentries, so you can really go for the robot vibe. But it's... also worn by hyur NPCs. I kind of want a toggle so people can get what they want.
But as it is now, I'm sure the tail must have been manually hidden for a reason. I can wear the full set with any other torso gear, and the tail becomes visible again even though it's coming out of the pants.

Plenty of us picked these races specifically for the extra features of tails and ears. At most if they absolutely want to hide the tail it should have just been a tail-less option in character creator (and the barber). It's not like the gear needs a fully modelled tail-hole, more often than not the clipping works just fine.
