I was obviously being sarcastic. If he's going to give a simple response, then I'm going to be simple when responding to it.

It's trying to be a family man.
I rip the axe from the head Covered in blood and brains Leave the body lying dead Ready to strike again
My sword cuts through clothes and skin Like a hot knife cuts through snow I smile as the bastard screams When I twist my sword
Sword in my hand Axe on my side Valhalla awaits me Soon I will die Bear skin on my back Wolf jaw on my head Valhalla awaits me When I'm dead
Viking Job Please!
Can I get, like, a dev response to this or something?
Yoshi: "This is the direction we are taking the game... blah blah blah."
When I first saw those words, my assumption was:
Fun - They're going to try to revise the game so that it's fun, and that's top priority.
Live - They're going to keep the game active and online moving forward instead of killing it and starting over.
Rebuild - They're going to completely change the game and rebuild it into something else entirely.
Reboot - Character wipe / re-release of the game.
Obviously Yoshida has stated he would never do a character wipe, but that doesn't mean he can't just as easily remove the value of everyone's efforts in the game and just introduce new stuff entirely.
But that was my interpretation of the words back in the day. I doubt they carry any meaning up to this point.

I think FFXIV is trying to be.... FFXIV. For some reason people can't seem to grasp or accept that.
