Travel Restrictions

How does it make no sense when you yourself point out you won't ever touch the data center again? Their entire purpose was spreading and equalizing player distribution, and they've got an entire new data center to populate. There are constant cries of the data center being dead. And, let's not forget, the game is newly available to Xbox players. It makes perfect sense to forcibly encourage the data center to populate sufficiently that cries of it being dead diminish.

Except that's not what it's doing, what it's doing is forcing people to be on there, knowing for a fact that once it opens again (which is at the latest 7.0.5 according to them) people will leave in droves, be it via DC travel or full world transfer, to more populated DC's.

It would make sense if people stayed, but a lot wont. They opened DC travel, they doomed Dynamis to fail at the same time as they did that, Aether is and will stay the raiding DC, and Crystal is and will stay the RP DC, and a massive amount of people will either transfer or DC travel to those, just like pre DT. If you seriously think that all of those people, including the travelers (that are a massive part of the current population on dynamis) are going to keep going there when DC travel opens back up, I dont know what to tell you. That's the same thing as people that expected people to keep going to Oceanic when they opened DC travel from NA to OCE, it lasted a few days and then died down, and now barely anyone even goes there anymore. The same will happen to Dynamis after the restrictions are lifted.

Not only that, but it's also heavily unfair by design that Dynamis players are stuck to their own DC while other DC's have 2 dc's to play in, it aint a good feeling.

Also adding one last thing, I have been on Dynamis for about 9 months or so at this point, maybe 10, and was very happy there, but once you start to restrict where I can DC travel to, with the excuse of congestion when there is absolutely none, that's where I personally draw the line, if they are going to keep DC travel restricted, at least be honest about it and say that it's to populate Dynamis and dont use a congestion that doesnt exist as an excuse.
