If you hit the requirement to wear a certain piece, you should be able to freely glamour it on any other equipment period. Why are they so hellbent on restricting the player like a little toddler it's just condescending at this point

no
10characters
what kills me is the amount of NPCs just mixing and matching while the ppl who saved the danm start cant wear shirt bc it might confused someone??? But dont worry, tank's gonna go into the eikon in a bikini, ok
meowmeow please
also this
e-z  no immersion breaking bc i can wear it bc i've achieved what i need to to wear it, but without switching jobs please and thank
I don't mind the new raid glams, but I wish I could have scouting coat vs the fending but it will never happen, so I'll keep waiting for devs to notice me.
Not only those. You can absolutely dress a healer in full plate and tanks have a lot of stuff that looks like robes. The more recent PvP sets also laugh in the face of any consistent "job identity". Keep job identity to artifact gear. It's not like the gear won't be released as a recolor an expansion later, except for different jobs.
Another bump supporting lifting glam restrictions.
agreed
absolutely insane, job identity in cosmetics has been gone for years ever since all-class glamour gear has existed, whether it be on the mog station or otherwise
keep artifact armor and obviously weapons exclusive, but make everything else fair game. As someone said before, make it so you can only glamour it once you've reached the required level with one of the jobs that uses it. This would also encourage players to branch out to more jobs (like what the mentor system encourages) And honestly, it would actually make me want to level crafters/gatherers now just to get their cosmetics
