Wow, Wuk Lamat is really single-handedly ruining the DT story...

I liked Wuk in 6.x patch, but after doing 7.0 msq, I can't deal with her.

Too overwhelming, not even paid to assist her and let's not forget, we never had an option to choose to support her or not. They forced us.
I only enjoyed the msq parts where she wasn't taking part. I really need a break from her, because god damn, too much Wuk in my msq.

See I'm the opposite. She started grating on me from scene 1, and it's only gotten worse with each scene she's in. I took the advice some people were giving and changed the voices to Japanese, it did not help. The plot isn't doing itself any favors either, it feels like we're being railroaded into this, without a second thought or anything. A good plot would make the players feel like it's a natural decision for all characters involved. A bad plot (this one), forces you to do this weather you want to or not, weather it feels right or not. I don't want to help Wuk Lamat.

Now people compare Wuk Lamat to Lyse, and that's just cruel. Lyse might not have been the best at the time, but I at least WANTED to help Lyse, and it made sense with the story.

Honestly, what this should have been was an Indian Jones Temple of Doom style story, go explore new lands, raid the tombs of some long lost civilization. Just you know, have a fun adventure, not dealing with a character that you might want to feed to a giant snake.

Poochie is just a meta joke parodying writers who create a "cool" new character who gets forced into the spotlight, everyone in the story instantly loves, and everything in the story takes backstage to the new character and showing how totally awesome they are

The thing with poochie is there's also a clear framing in the episode of corporate interference in an attempt to make a marketable character.

I bring it up because I can't help but think of who might really be causing such bizarre writing directions in the past few years. New inept writers who are bound and restricted by 10 years of lore and story, or producers who want to keep their marketable scions around to sell merch, overpriced store outfits and......whatever those creepy dolls are meant to be.

I play only with JP voices, because i'm a total otaku xd, and it may sound better because of the anime expressions/voice acting, but that didn't meant that I enjoyed Wuk. Is the classic character in an anime that I never can deal with XD.

But yeah, she's too much. I can't deal with such intense personality, not even irl. I would never consider myself a friend of Wuk. And then she asked me to stay with her and work by her side hahahahaha. Never!

She really does have "high level meddling" written all over her. I hope the backlash makes them think a bit. The character is not bad. But they need to reconsider the framing and implementation and realize a character like that works better in moderation.

I've unsubscribed for now. I don't know if I'll ever come back. Maybe if they at least acknowledge publicly how many people dislike the story but I somehow doubt they will. Farewell.

Wish I could be there beside you, but I committed to my friends, and I don't want to let them down like Wuk Lamat did. I'm hoping that Savage is good enough to make up for everything else that sucked this expansion.

I haven't gone to this extreme, though it is the most the MSQ of Dawntrail deserves! But I have stopped playing MSQ for now and went back to ARR to play an alt. So, still pretty grim all around.

For the first time ever i had to power through the MSQ skipping, honestly i really need to know how this got ever greenlight because somebody in the writer's room had to ask "why are we rehusing Amaurot plot again, why we have Temu Meteon in here?" Because the disconnect between Solution 9 and Living Memory is baffling like, the game tells every 5 minutes "these aren't real people, is a construct made of memories" and even the quest in which you need to help the elezen that lost his engagement ring tells you "I know i'm dead, but i haven't manage to reunite with my lover because there's not enough aether therefore the computer can't recreate everyone" and yet they try to play it as "THIS IS SO SAD, YOU HAVE TO DO A MASS MURDER, SO SAD, ARE YOU CRYING?" Like no? There was a few good scenes with graha in the gondola and the fewer we have of Erenville with his mom but we cannot have that because Wake Lament needs to show in every single cutscene.

I really hope she just stays in Tuliyollal and we move on to another place in the continent because holy fuck, i don't think i can handle another shonen-esque dialogue about happiness and peace.

Gotta love the fact it's never shown how the relationship between Wookie Lame and Zoraal was, the never ask herself "woah with my brother is saying all these horrible things about papa?" none of that, and remember at the begining of the MSQ she was like "i'm not a warrior like Zoraal, and neither have his strength" and yet when you beat Zoraal and see Woke Lmao he just goes "I could never surpass you..." like come on.

I'll take Zero over Poochie any day at least her design was cool and didn't talked much. But I guess lamat is Hiroi's Original Character do not steal, and he's going to try and shove her as much as possible for what we have of DT.

Other than that, the dungeons, trials and raids are good
