yeahhhh you've never EVER played a healer and it shows, healer is boring AF and incredibly easy, if healers aren't keeping people up with 1 or 2 vuln stacks that's a skill issue because i and many others do it regularly. He not complaining about casual player dying cause they eat an AoE. He right in a sense, in most content, healer and dps can't fail mechanic much whitout dying after 1 or 2 mistake while tank can casually challenge themselves to survive with 4+ vulne stack when they are bored. That gap in defence is so bad in fact that it hard to change anything about overall difficulty for healer in content. The game would benefit from more ''rapid fire'' mechanic that quickly stack vulne.
so this is your first time playing an MMO huh? that's generally how TANKS work when eating damage compared to DAMAGE DEALING NON-TANKSUltimately it's a self-healing issue. Tanks should only be able to delay their deaths to a boss, not outheal an entire boss worth of damage.
It's just really stupid how every other role is "If you make a mistake and eat 2 AoEs at a time, you're dead" but tank is "I can eat as many AoEs as I want and I have an invuln and a healer to bail me out"
Tank is basically easy mode on mechanics, Healer is easy mode on rotation, DPS is normal difficulty on both.

Yeah that's kind of the point of tanks. If they WERE easy to kill, wipes would happen entirely too often. Like suggesting Vuln Ups kill a tank faster too means that basically everything would one shot a DPS.

Theirs a difference from being defensively strong and almost immortal, Tanks are leaning too much towards the side of feeling Immortal.
The main issue i have is more with the tank passive, it leads to tanks feeling less important about cycling mitigations, which I think should be important as Autos don't really hurt enough even when not mitigating.

They just rolled the effects of the various tank stances into that passive, so being that tanky always did exist in some capacity.
Yea I don't play healer that much but I'm still in the right too. When it come to post Shadowbringer content you ain't keeping DPS with 2 vulne stacks alive, It not about skill or healer knowledge, it just about the fact healer/dps get hit from more than their max hp when they fail a mechanic while having a single vulne stack.
Yeah it updated again, because it was within double digit range, but still. I fail to see what's so funny about it though.LMAO. Check again on FFLOGs buddy. The three tanks of DRK, PLD, AND WAR are all within 100-200 dps of each other while GNB is almost 500 dps or even higher with raid buffs at the top end. Which means the potential of the 3 are similar, while GNB is the king (for a third expansion in arow).
That just means that there is 1 tank that does 1 thing better. Warrior still holds a monopoly on everything else AND is second on dps.
That's still a really, really bad place for the tanks to be at.

I know why they did it but there's still something deeply funny about reading the patch notes and seeing that the only tank that got any potency buffs is Warrior.
Aesthetics, i like the animations for other tanks, plus them having less mitigation than warrior doesnt prevent them from clearing content
