Bard name is so misleading

the job latterly musician who scream art of war not a bard who actually sing

just imagine a party where singer bard and dancer in The Twinning.

I would laugh as much as I can

I mean, Bards in Final Fantasy aren’t even supposed to be ‘Musicians’ in the standard ‘D&D Bard’ sense. Bards in Final Fantasy are magical poets with harps lol, hence the literal JP name for Bard is ‘Poet’.

I mean, I agree an actual ‘singer’ job would be cool, but I think they’d just say ‘we can’t do that because of Bard’ even though that’s not really what it is or was supposed to be about lol. Plus there’s simply too many people now who like the twisted mess of identities XIV calls a Bard, so I feel like there’s a huge backlash from them complaining ‘but we’re supposed to be musicians!!!’
