This is...confusing if true considering I've spent years reporting people who routinely use actual botting programs on alt accounts yet they get off free despite it being painfully obvious that they're following the same precise paths in circles for hours on end without cease.

I suspect a few of those individuals aren't truly away from keyboard. They're letting the program do the work while they're doing something else on a second monitor. If a GM sends a tell to talk, they're right there able to respond while a true bot either wouldn't respond or would have some sort of scripted response that a GM could see through.

Considering this game lacks anything equivalent to Blizzard's Warden, it's doubtful that the GM or the STF would pursue it any farther.
