Lyse vs. Wuk Lamat

The thing that stands out to me about the difference between the two is that when Lyse is stupid, it leads to consequences for her being stupid, and no matter how much she talks about "freedom and liberation" just saying those words do not really change the situation.

When Wuk is stupid, its just a funny slapstick moment, and otherwise she's written as a near-untouchable writer's insert. She can go on and on about how much she loves her "papa and peace", and everyone is just in awe of her. She's never truly challenged, not outside of the Saturday morning cartoon villian that is part 1 Bakool anyway and its not like that amounts to anything. We don't even get to see her paired up with Zaraal or Bakool in the Team Good Guys vs Team Bad Guys cooking competition. The contest she brought us over resulted in two of the contestants forfeiting, to support her. And the last one just kinda left.

Lyse is incredibly more nuanced while Wuk is a flat line.
