If they would let us break some of the actions away from the condensed combos I would be much happier. I can’t rely on red/green since I’m red/green color weak, so it would be nice if I could assign those positionals to specific parts of my bar so I can distinguish them at a glance.

The buttons always apply to the same positional. The dread fangs 3rd skill is always a behind positional, and steal fangs 3rd skill will always be the flank. For me that means button 5 is my behind positional and button 6 is my flank positional.

Use color blind accessibility options? I swear, half of the complaints people have stem from them not going into the game options and changing settings

People keep saying "read the tooltips", but there's information that is just not there, namely the fact that the combo steps that make sense to use at any given time will be highlighted.

Every combo in the game lights up the next button you should press. It's not just a Viper feature, but rather common across MMOs generally.

Are you able to memorize what the images look like? I did that for the non color coded positionals. You can also put a copy of the two buttons very large on your UI so you can more clearly see the 2.

One of your 3rd GCDs will always be a positional so you just need to know which is which even if you can't see the colors.

Yeah I have a bar with oversized images to help with such situations. I have the main skills up there now to help with visibility.
